Excellent book
I thought that I was going to be an architect in high school but life throws curve balls. What I can remember diving into architecture this book is reminding me of what I had previously learned.

Informative but not so overwhelming that you need a degree to understand it
After a little bit of page turning, it appears simple enough for anyone to understand. I was looking for something that I didn’t need a degree to comprehend, and this book satisfies that.

Great for beginners. Easy to follow.
Excellent text for beginning students. I have been looking for a text like this to use for teaching my beginning architectural drafting course. Available texts always seem to cover too much advanced information for beginners. This text does not try to overreach its purpose, and very effectively breaks down basic skills into learnable, professionally presented segments. Nice graphics and well explained. Review questions are even provided at the end of each chapter.

Excellent!
I view architecture as a hobby at this point in my life. This book was a perfect starter to understand the basics of architectural drafting. Couple this book with Francis Ching’s Architectural Graphics and you will have a great foundation.
