This is easy to read and locks in right
I used this to get the angle I needed to cut the bottoms of the posts for my handrails on some interior stairs and wow. Talk about value for money. I checked it with my Starrett and with my digital angle finder and they all said the same thing. This thing is perfectly square, but that's the build quality is expect from CH. It's very easy to use, you don't need to understand any math to get the angle you need. I'm glad I broke down and got it. I was holding out for the fully metal one and now I know it's worth it. But also so is this one, I have been using it and haven't ordered the metal one I'm so happy with it.

Great tool
Cheaper alternative to the aluminum frame. Enjoy the repeat cuts without "eyeballing" every cut.

Do not buy this!
Breaks very easy , if you drop and or tighten screw to much ! If you look at the design you will see where the screw is and the small strip of plastic thats where it breaks......very thin

To be honest, if it was more expensive, I probably would not have purchased, but it is a cool tool to keep for rare occasions!

Great idea, but only works for angles
Has a hard time staying close works for cutting angles but it's tough for just normal speed square work

Bit of Respect
I know this is not a took that will last 15 or 25 years, but is made to last. The plastic is strong. I would not throw it into my took bucket and go. It does need a bit of respect and care, but other than that, it is a good tool. I checked the levels and they were on-point.

A useable tool
Finally! Someone has finally taken the tri square and improved it, making life a little simpler for the layman in construction. I am very impressed with this design and functionality. It’s simple to understand once you have read and comprehend the instructions.

Cool idea and I could see myself using this a lot more if greater care was given during the design process. As a square this unit is completely fine but the hinge pin seems a little weak/has trouble locking securely. I could have just received a weak model but I have inspected the item thoroughly and the screw is just not sufficient as a hinge point
