Best purchase I ever made
Im brand new to pc gaming, made the switch from consoles and researched everything I could for a month trying to decide on the right pc to get, all my research lead me to this pc, at the time it had zero reviews but the company was a great company. so i bought it, and while waiting on it someone put a review saying thiers had issues and i was freaking out because mine was coming anyday, but when I got it and plugged it in it was all good, this machine is a monster, runs at a cool 65 Celsius when going hard core for hours at cold war zombie with a trillion other programs going and doing so on a ultrawide 34" and does so like its easy, the pc just laughs and say "that all you got bro?" lol the fans are quiet and i have to put my ear up to it to see if its even running. soooo... at this price point (1600) this is the best deal around, you will not be sorry. all SSD no HD, 2060 super intel 7-10. so stop reading and go hit the buy button, this is the one.

Great performance but some tradeoffs
Fast, quiet, sleek. It's a great looking and performing rig. Lots of options for input/output including optical audio which was big for me. So what's the problem? It's compact but it's still BIG. It really doesn't take up much less space than a mid-tower. Why is that an issue? Because mid-towers give you a ton of room to work inside the case. First thing I did when I got this was pop it open to see about upgrading the RAM. It is COMPLETELY under the CPU fan. So if I want to upgrade, it's going to be more involved than, "open case, remove old, install new." And that's what I would be able to do with a mid-tower. I'm sure that I'll still do it eventually, but it's going to be a hassle. I also don't like that the hard drive (1TB M.2) comes partitioned to make a 350GB "data" drive. Leave that configuration choice up to the consumer. I still give it 4 stars because it really is a great machine. I just don't know if I'd buy it again or if I would go with something more accessible since it doesn't save much space at all.

Pass
Dead on arrival power supply doesn’t come on. Tech support at msi not helpful at all. Pretty cabinet only good thing to say.

If a Trident is in stock- buy it.
I have found my MSI to be of top quality and it is everything I was looking for in both a gaming and media savvy computer. For it's cost I got great support and a system that rivaled others charging far more.

bought this on Jan 19,2021, lasted to 2/23
It was overall a great product while it worked, I bought the "budget" verision one, im saying this because it only has 2 slots for upgrading your ram, and a decent motherboard, but not great. But decent for the price of 1.6k. I really love this computer, and I was hoping to get a replacement because it stopped working on me due to a window update that messed up my computer. I've talked to both CS represetives (MSI and the people that I bought the warranty from) Niether were much help, and both refered me to push for a replacement, so the warranty didn't really help. The only reason I'm getting a refund because they dont have a replacement and i'm eligible for the time frame for one due to Amazon's policy for returns. Anyways, beware of Window updates. Make sure you keep eye out because it will mess it up. The computer did slow down quite a bit though even though I took great care of it such as scanning every weekend or so for virus and ect. I did have a problem with the RBG coloring and changing because it kept reverting back to the default rainbow colors here and there. Overall, go with the more expensive ones if you want something small because thats what I wanted. A smaller tower, but comes with a punch. anyways, I hope this helps.

Easy to upgrade / Extend Lifespan
I was shopping for a direct replacement for my wife's older Alienware X51 desktop. She was looking for the same footprint on her desk and this was the best one I could find. Amazing ease to upgrade. I added two disks right away. No removing a motherboard - it's all right there when you pop the side off. She is really enjoying the upgrade.
