They were okay for someone who is really homesick for biltong and is willing to settle for something not as bad as jerky but not quite as good as biltong.Some pieces tasted soapy (acidy???)The delivery was quicker than expected but the taste was subpar

This is some of the best Biltong that one can get in the US. I have tried ordering Biltong from a number of South African specialty food stores, and even some stores internationally, and all things considered, this still definitely gets 5 stars. For those who have never tried Biltong, if you like beef jerky, this will change your life.

This is for any beef jerky love(which I am). Very well seasoned and tasty! I always have some in the cup board.

Just like South African biltong - absolutely no difference in taste - we were very happy!

Didn't care for these. I can only compare them with those I've had during several trips to South Africa. These were not as dry as I prefer, and they were covered in some kind of spice which I didn't care for either. There are many different recipes all of which are a matter of personal taste. I dont care for this recipe. I do love their Droewors and highly recommend it.

I have never tried Biltong before so I can't compare it, but its excellent in flavor and texture. Very yummy.

As good as any really good biltong I've had in South Africa.
