We bought this same canopy when they first came out, lasted us over 15 years! The only reason we had to purchase another is the canopy did not make it through a violent wind storm, as we forgot to lower it down when going to bed while camping. The second version seems just a sturdy as the first. It is very easy to set up and take down. I have put it up and taken it down with myself and my small daughter with no issues. It even comes with a very nice/sturdy roller bag ( which also will hold up and not breakdown over time)

This is a great canopy. As someone who needs protection from the sun, I love being able to sit or lay underneath this and be fully protected all day long. I've used this canopy at the beach, for tailgating and for watching kids sports. It's held up wonderfully to all sorts of different weather and it goes up very easily with two people. The first time you put it up, it is a little difficult to get the pieces up, but once you know what you're doing, it will take 5-10 minutes to get set up. We have used the stakes (very tiny) that come with it, but I strongly recommend purchasing the weights as well for it. While the stakes held up pretty good in some beach wind, I feel more comfortable having the stakes and the weights to hold it down. Also, you can't use the stakes on concrete so it's a good idea to get the weights if you're going to be using it on a hard surface. While its probably not recommended by the manufacturer, we have also hung wet t-shirts to dry from the poles within the canopy.As I stated above, we used this at a kids sports tournament and the tournament actually ended up getting cancelled by a massive thunderstorm. This canopy was up the entire time and we lowered it to the lowest level and had 7 people and a large Labrador Retriever underneath it the entire time. We each held an end (the wind was insane) to keep it from blowing away and stayed relatively dry throughout the entire storm with the exception of our feet so I know this thing can hold up to a pretty strong storm.What it can't hold up to is human error. One of the plastic clips broke because our friend was pushing too hard when we were trying to get it back down. While I don't think the canopy is broken because of this, it definitely will become more difficult to put up and down now. Just be careful when you are trying to push in the plastic clips to put it down as they can break.

This product worked flawlessly. I bought it w/ Amazon Prime and paid the extra $3.99 to have it shipped overnight the day before heading to the beach.The wind was blowing hard, but the canopy remained anchored with the included steaks... no problems. It was really easy to put it... I could have done it alone I think, but 2 people is MUCH easier. (4 people is almost instant)Seems to be really good quality for the price, I was quite surprised. The carrying case has wheels and is very handy to move around. It's not all that heavy to carry either.My only regret is that I didn't get the 12x12. It's measured from the base, so 10x10 is really quite a bit less. But once it was up, it didn't really feel too small. (bigger is always better though!)Good purchase!

I have used EZUps for years. They've Been flimsy. Do break down intake and the putting up was ALWAYS work. This is the easiest to put up ALONE! SO sturdy. I was gobsmacked how out of the box it set right up in moments. I am so excited EZups are finally Easy!

Very easy setup & takedown. We took this to the Texas Gulf Coast and set up right on the beach with consistent high winds. The cover has velcro to hold the corners to the frame but only 4 small velco straps to fasten the top of the frame to the roof, no side velcro straps. This was not a problem, I think because the cover fits so well and snug to to canopy frame. The legs slide and lock in place easily. Take down is just as simple. It comes with a nice rolling bag but I couldn't fit the cover into the bag after folding it up and there is not a side pocket to fit it into. The pegs are the typical small pegs which I save but never use. We used homer buckets filled with sand to anchor but I also saw people using cloth grocery bags filled with sand which I might try next time. For the price, they should have sewn a pocket for the cover onto the rolling bag. Otherwise it is a good canopy. PS-We saw many frames in the garbage due to the high winds. I myself recently threw away Walmart's $49.00 canopy.

Just took it to the beach and it worked wonderfully! We have lost a couple of beach umbrellas because of the wind at this particular beach. We were tired of throwing away money so we decided to invest in something more permanent. We are so happy with it!! We particularly liked that the legs are adjustable. We did buy the sand bags for weights so the wind won't it take it away. We used it the first day with the legs fully extended and the weights (pictured). The second day at the lowest position with no weights. When the wind picked up we did put one of the weights on because all the umbrellas around us were getting tossed around. Our canopy stayed right in place. Great place to sit and enough space for our daughter to play in the sand, out of the sun. Very easy to carry to the beach with the included wheeled bag. We're also looking forward to using it in our backyard for extra shade during parties. Nice to have a place to hang towels to dry. Very easy to set up and break down.
