Works as advertised
I use this vacuum pump before every dive to check for any leaks in the camera seals. It gives me piece of mind that my expensive camera is less likely going to get damaged by a flooded housing.

Have to remove it, it’s waterproof.
I thought you could add this to the housing and leave it in. You have to remove it each time and put the original plug back in. It’s not waterproof. It would be nice to see the green turn to red underwater if there was an issue.

Great, simple product
These reviews are... misguided to be as nice as I possibly can be about it.First of all its clearly stated in the product title its for SeaFrogs brand, so rating it poorly because its not for another brand is insane.Several reviewers complained it cannot be left on. There are two issues with that. First off if you read anything about this the company is clear about that over and over again. Secondly it works by creating a vacuum inside the casing. That creates a pressure differential between the inside and SEA LEVEL. That means you would be creating even MORE pressure between the inside and the water pressure as you dive, thus reducing the depth you can safely dive to. Think, people. It's not what the product is for. It is for testing that the main seal of the housing has been closed successfully. Once you do that you no longer need it. You still have the water intrusion detection alarm. Once you are under water that will actually trigger LONG before this would, ANYWAY. It's basic physics. So frustrating to see a good product get review bombed because people dont understand how it works. It's a bit overpriced for a low-end hand-operated vacuum pump, a simple one-way seal, an LED and a pressure-operated switch, but you are paying for peace of mind every time you take your $1000+ camera into the depths. And it works.

Not for Ikelite
The housing adapters do not fit Ikelite housing port, I'll need to modify housing to make it work

Nic
Needs to be able to go down with it still attached to the camera, but I'm pleased.
