Timex Men's Easy Reader Bold 38mm Watch – Silver-Tone Case White Dial with Black Leather Strap

Great legibility, simple and clean dial, and works for both casual and formal. I wanted an Easy Reader without all the numerals and the date window so this was it. The leather strap is a bit meh and the second hand hits slightly off but considering the price, it's definitely passable. I might change the strap to something more colorful later.Update: got a new strap and its looking fresh for Summer.

If you could only have one watch. This is it. As long as you are not trying to impress people, (who don't care anyway) this is the one. Absolutely the easiest watch to read insantly. Day or night (the indiglo lights up the dial like an airplane runway at night). The watch very accurate. I did change the leather band but that was just my preference.

Typical Timex. Works fine, looks good is accurate and fits my limited budget.

So this watch has a great face, backlight and good looks IMHO but i noticed immediately that the second hand was not aligned to the watch face which was annoying the more i looked at it.The fact is i purchased two watches simultaneously and the 2nd watch was better featured for not much more $$ and its second hand was not so badly out of step made me return easier.All in all, this is a solid watch if you can find it with the right setup, and i would have kept it had i not had another watch on hand to make the comparison from but it came in 2nd.i do recall the band felt decent, not to tight or rigid, and the watch face is easy to see and stylish IMPOV but i couldn't get over the second hand, and the tick wasn't bad either - personally i don't mind hearing that but some folks can't stand it.If i had this watch and scratched it i would feel some remorse but at the price, i'd not cry about it and that's why you buy this, to look good but not spend $$ getting that look - so i keep a more expensive watch in the case and wear something like this without too much angst daily.Recommended (if the 2nd hand lines up)

In my opinion this is the best of the Timex easy read watches. If you're looking for one because your sight is challenged , this is it. I went through about four different ones and the white background with black numbers and hands is the easiest to read. The other styles are great except when you want to go take a nap or want to use it in low light conditions. This is the easiest to read by far in low light or no light conditions with or without good eyesight.I can't see much of anything without glasses on and I can read this in the dark because of the design and the indiglo.I used the US Naval Observatory Master Clock, you can get the phone number, to set the time and seconds properly.Comfortable watch band and traditional Timex quality. Good times

There is nothing to dislike about this watch. It is typical Timex, clear, easy to ready, Indiglo, and a lovelyblack strap. I bought it for my husband for his birthday and he loves it.

Bought this watch on Oct 4 2021. It is now Nov 26 2021. I bought this specifically so I could check my watch in the dark and today the indiglo light has died.

Bought to replace same model I got thirty years ago. Nice quality, great looks, and good value.
