Victron EnergyCerbo GX for System Monitoring and Control - Remote Access and Control with Victron Remote Monitoring (VRM) & VictronConnect App - Compatible with Marine MFD's

Excellent product, a little hard to get connected with bluetooth and wifi, but once you work through that it is easy to set up and monitor through the online portal. After watching a youtube video it was easy to set up temperature sensors and fans on the relays. Have Inverter, Battery Monitor and MPPT Charger all connected with VE Cables which were not supplied. I have recently installed Bluetooth Ruuvi Tags for temperature sensors and Asus USB-N14 WiFi adapter. Must use Victron products or compatable product to get everything to work together.

Victron is synonymous with quality so what more can be expected. Haven't tried all functions but doing what is asked of it.

The VRM portal rejected my attempt to register the Cerbo GX. I received this in a whitebox with no Victron markings. No cables other than the power cable and no instructions. The instructions on Victron's website to "install" it on the VRM site were to use the "VRM ID" from the sticker on the side of the Cerbo. This was blatantly misleading. The only way I figured out what number to use was by trial-and-error. When I saw the Cerbo on my network, I noticed a number beside it and so, with nothing to lose, I tried that. It worked! Victron equipment is the best but it is not good salesmanship to mislead your customers with nonsense about how to connect the Cerbo to VRM.Edit 2024:So I bought another Cerbo (original one is in the solar shed and new one in the attached garage). For some inexplicable reason, the WIFI on the garage cerbo just would not connect -- despite being much closer to the router. So I did a little digging -- Victron is aware of this issue and recommends plugging a WIFI dongle into one of the USB jacks. This worked for me, however, had I not had one laying on my desk, I would've been very irritated at the need to run out and buy another piece of gear. Another annoyance: Victron nickles and dimes you for the VE direct cables. Also, the Cerbo does not talk to the battery sense modules.

I've been using this Cerbo for several months now, and it works with no problems so far. In my DIY solar project I have it installed in a shed, connected with a Victron charge controller and a Smart Shunt. The house Wifi covers the shed, so at any time I can see what's happening with the system through the App. It gives you basic data and trends. When I go there, it connects via Bluetooth and it offers more functionality. Never experienced any Wifi or Bluetooth connection issues. If I turn the system off then it comes back right away. I find it essential if you'd like to check on your system remotely. I recommend this product.

It’s victron what else to say. Easy set up easy to connect my other victron components and I chose to connect it via Ethernet cable to my router so I can check my system anywhere it works great

Well... i now have a $200 paper weight. My unit completely died after 1 year. I kept my Cerbo GX in a climate controlled area, and took very good care of it. It is now completely dead, and will not turn on. Victron product waranties are only through Victron Dealers, so ordering from some random amazon seller you will not have any warantee. You are completely on your own when things go wrong. Only buy Victron products from authorised Victron Dealers like Current connected or NAZ. Learn from my mistake
