Haoge Cap-GR Metal Front Lens Cap Cover for RICOH GR III GRIII GR3 Camera Black

I got the Dark Grey for my GRIII Diary Edition to see if it would look better than the included black and white rings.The good thing is that the ring feels about the same in terms of texture, but the bad thing is that it doesn’t screw on or off as easily. It’s not too bad, but there’s definitely more resistance.The other thing is that it’s not exactly the same color as the camera especially in bright lighting, but I think I’m going to keep it and use it for now since it’s starting to grow on me.

Stays put, easy to take on and off. 10/10.

Very difficult to align and to get to turn onto the bayonet mount on the camera. Does not click securely into place. Very bad experience compared to how easily the ricoh ring goes on and off. Did not want to try to force it as it seems like it would break something. Cannot recommend at all. YMMV.

Grey ring gives a nice subtle accent and fits well, almost too well. Mine is very difficult to remove but this could be a favorable flaw considering many have issues with the OEM ring falling off and getting lost quite easily.

Love it. Screwed on nicely. Gives my GRIII a nice pop of color. Fair price and works as advertised.

This is a great adapter to add to your GR III/X, allowing the use of 49mm filters and protecting the sensor from dust (an issue with this camera). The product is great, only marred by the terrible mount on the camera itself. At the time of this review, my GR III is brand new. The camera mount does not allow the adapter to fully click into place, so confidence of it staying put is moderate at best. If you are being careful, it will stay in place.

Adapter fits great on the GR III. The GA-1 adapter is a bit overpriced, and this works well as a substitute. I bought it to use with a filter to protect the lens.

This ring does not fit my Ricoh GR IIIx. Disappointed
