Great Piece of Kit
Allowed me to connect 2 x monitors, a wireless keyboard & mouse and a headset to my laptop. Great for increased productivity and adding those additional peripherals to make working life easier.

Helps
Makes using my company laptop so much easier, I can now use two screens and my wireless keyboard and mouse without even opening the lid of the laptop. Took a while to set up and some driver updates as it wasn’t initially recognised by my laptop, but eventually I got there.

This keeps failing. Loosing connection to laptop and headset it has a significant fault

Easy to set up (Plug-n-play)
This is my second HP USB-C Dock G5 as I was expanding my set up. I run 3 monitors with my work laptop, through my original G5 and I wanted to add 2 monitors to my own laptop, so another G5 was the natural choice. It's just plug in and go, without any fuss.

Like it - feels robust
It’s been a good product. The usb-c plug comes from a wire built into the device - if I squash the socket it or yank the wire too hard the whole device would be inoperable so I’d suggest a future modification would be to make this a plug-in socket not hard wired in case it needs to be replaced in the future. Also, when plugged in, the sound doesn’t work on my laptop or monitor- think I need to get external speakers for it. That said, I am happy with it and use it every day.

Early days but works well
Yes, I need to tidy the cables! Works great so far - I can easily switch been home and work laptops using the thunderbolt port. Connected - LG 45" curved monitor via HDMI, Anker speaker/mic, webcam, usb-c charger for phone and a mouse. Turns off when the laptop is shut down (I saw some reviews that says it didn't?) No issues so far but I've only had it a couple of days!
