Great black light for looking for urine stains, easy to use and bold light. Functions well and convenient size

Let me start with, I bought this to spot ringworm. My son is a wrestler and has nummular eczema. If you aren't familiar with nummular eczema it is round circular patches of eczema that look almost exactly like ringworm... which is where the problem lies for a wrestler. We bought this to differentiate eczema vs ringworm and it works fantastic. Eczema does not light up and ring worm will glow green.

I bought this because I have a senior dog that I thought might be possibly having leak issues while sleeping. I have waterproof reusable bed pads that are soft and well made that I use to cover her bed or where she sleeps just in case but I think I tend to over wash these pads because maybe she is or maybe she isn't leaking so I thought this would help me discover if for sure it needed wash without having to feel it or smell test throughout the pads. It does help you see stuff but not necessarily ONLY urine. It picks up where she might have licked the pad where a treat was dropped. It shows more in the area she lays and licks her front feet or toys than urine drops. It does not light up like a neon sign for urine and you have to look patiently. Despite not being quick, and easy to hunt urine stains, the light is well made. It is bright enough to show things if you look hard enough and know what to look for, or you are wanting to confirm if you have cleaned up an area enough. It is a durable light and while it has some weight to it to be easy to hold it isn't too heavy to use for a long period as I understand this is amazing to hunt scorpions. I do use it, but it just isn't the help that photos showed it would be for me. Hope that helps.

I’m sure there are higher quality black lights out there, but for the price, this one is great. It does everything that I need it to do. I have had it for a few weeks now, and it works great. It shines brightly, and I have not experienced any issues.

Things to know: Best performance is within a few feet; it’s not designed for long-distance scanning. Fresh batteries make a noticeable difference in brightness, so it’s worth keeping spares on hand. Bottom line: A dependable UV flashlight that performs well for scorpion detection. If you need something compact and effective for nighttime searches, this is a solid choice.

Works Great! It's truly eye opening to SEE the "stains" you will find. A great tool to use for cleaning up the house.

I bought this hoping it would show me areas of cat pee on my bedroom carpet, instead I had to use my nose on the carpet to find the spots my elderly cat has decided to pee on. It didn’t work for this type of application. However, It’s a cool light & we have scorpions really bad in the summer so my grandkids will have fun with it.

This is my second purchase. My first lasted years though I bought a new one when the on switch finally failed. This does an excellent job of finding dog urine in carpets for more effective cleaning and deodorizing. My dogs are sneaky!
