Great!
I first learned of Phil Wickham from hearing the chorus of "This Is The Day" on Greg Laurie's radio broadcast, "A New Beginning", so I looked into his music and liked it. I bought this album and it's REALLY good. It's so rich and full of good Biblical lyrics, and you can tell he really cares about what he's singing about. My favorites are "Holy Light" (which has kind of the same theme as "Heaven Fall Down" from his last cd, of letting God's light flood the earth), "Carry My Soul" (rejoicing in the fact that one day we will be with God in heaven) "This Is Amazing Grace" (his single), "Tears of Joy" (another song about heaven), and "Thirst". I highly recommend this album, as it has been an encouragement to me in the Christian life.

Different
Phil Wickham has an unusal voice. That's not bad just different. He does a great job using that different voice. Most of all are the songs on this CD. They are some of the best I have heard in a long time. This CD is not just great music it is music with a wonderful message. Something that's hard to find in so many gospel singers these days. Mr. Wickhan sings with real heart and his message brings you right to the God he is singing about. A great worship vehicle. If you love a gospel CD which you can worship to as you listen this is the one. His style is much like John Waller. If you like John Waller you are going to love Phil Wickham.

Fantastic Album
Top tracks - The Ascension, This Is Amazing Grace, When My Heart is Torn Asunder, WonderfulThis is a great album. I looked at it because they played one song from it at my church and as soon as I listened to the samples, I bought it. It's in my car now and I love listening to it. The vocals on this album are great. There are a lot of choral elements mixed with some electronic synth. The words of the songs are great too. They are well thought out and very poignant. I highly recommend this album. Worth every penny and more. This is one of the best I've purchased in a long, long time.

Beautiful
I love every song in this album. A friend gave me this album when my husband was sick in the hospital for 5 months and I never listened to it until he passed away. It has lifted me up and I believe God was speaking through him. I lost that CD and purchased another on Amazon. Amazing

Everything great besides the cd case, it arrived all broken up. I think Amazon sellers could do better with the package materials to prevent cd cases to break all over.

Phil did it again
Very modern arrangements make this production one worth having. Phil's vocals are emotive and sincere, and he never over sings, which is something other artists should take note of, you don't need to hit every note in four different octaves to make a song memorable. The writing in the songs is spiritual and never leave doubt about whom they are are written. Overall a great production by one of the better young artists of our time; Christian or otherwise.

Music That Engages Your Heart & Leads You Into the Presence of God
This album deserves all 5 stars! There is not a song on this CD that I do not like. As someone who has listened to all Phil Wickham has put out, this is by far my favorite album of his.The songs: Holy Light, This is Amazing Grace Mercy, and Thirst are my favorites on this album.Let these songs engage your heart and lead you into worship of God; they did for me!
