I love this flash! So versatile as a photographer
I use this flash regularly as a photographer and it has been such a solid addition to my kit. The brightness and power are impressive for the size and it gives me consistent results both indoors and in low light situations. It is easy to use on camera and off camera and pairs seamlessly with the Godox wireless system which makes it super versatile for events, portraits, and lifestyle sessions. Battery life has held up well for longer shoots and recycle time is quick enough that I am not missing moments. For the price point this flash delivers professional level performance and is a great option for photographers who want reliability without spending a fortune

Great Flash for Portraits and Headshots at a Budget-Friendly Price
I bought the Godox TT600 to use on a tripod for headshots and portrait sessions, and I’ve been really happy with the results. The setup was simple, and the interface is easy to figure out even if you’ve never used a manual flash before. It fires reliably and puts out plenty of light, even with Kirkland brand non-rechargeable AA batteries. The recycle time has been fast enough for my needs, and I haven’t had a single misfire when using it with my Godox trigger. For the price, this flash is a great value. It feels well-built, works seamlessly with other Godox gear, and gives me consistent results without the cost of a higher-end TTL flash. If you’re looking to step up your portrait lighting without breaking the bank, this is a solid, dependable option.

Basically impossible to beat for the price
If you're looking for a good system to buy into, I think it's hard to get past Godox's strobes and speedlights. I have a number of other Godox/Flashpoint lights, and I just order a second TT600 to fill out my run-n-gun, three light off-camera portrait setup (now two of these and an AD200). With one of the X1T controllers, or even another Godox flash with commander built in (I've used my little , you could honestly do almost anything you want with enough of these TT600s. The fact that they can do high speed sync (HSS) up to 1/8000 with any brand of camera (again, so long as you have an appropriate trigger) is really impressive for $65, and there's nothing as capable in that price range from camera manufacturers (e.g. Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, etc.). The V-series lights that use 2000mAh rechargeable batteries are very enticing, but they have the same output, are double the price, and I already have quite the collection of Eneloop batteries that more than get the job done. If you're looking for a capable on-camera flash for bouncing, this will definitely do the job, but it requires a bit more effort since it doesn't support TTL. I've used my original TT600 this way to good effect numerous times, but with a little tweaking, a TTL speedlight makes the job quicker, easier, and more consistent. That being said, if you really want to get a better handle on how to use and incorporate flash into your event or portrait photos for fill, getting competent at using a manual flash can be very enlightening. Plus, if you're on a budget, it still works fine, just a little more trial-and-error. Overall, these lights are just really solid. The build is comparable to more expensive and similarly capable lights (features-wise) from Canon or Nikon. With good Eneloop Pro AAs in the chamber, recycle rates are pretty quick - probably about 2-3 seconds even for full power pops (you're honestly more likely to overheat the flash head if shooting really quickly at high power than run into recycle rate issues). In a HSS setup they're very reliable and work very well as fill for a higher-wattage key light in a softbox. The menus are pretty straightforward, and once you memorize how to put them into radio-triggered slave and groups, you'll probably never have to look at the manual again. I couldn't say what the customer service is like here in the states because I've never had a Godox light fail (and I've not been kind to my original TT600, if I'm being honest...), but if that's a concern buy the re-branded Flashpoint R2 through Adorama (same light, same triggers) as they'll back it up. My plan if I ever encounter a problem is to send it to Adorama for service/repair, but seeing as the price is so low on these lights in particular it's unlikely that repair would be notably cheaper than a new flash. (One thing to note about using the lights in slave/groups with a trigger is that they blink the AF assist lamp to let you know they have connection with the X1T trigger - doesn't bother me, but a friend of mine said it drives him crazy for some reason. To each their own, I suppose, but there's no way to turn it off.) As for the few people who have experienced quality control issues, I'm not sure why they didn't just return/exchange the defective light if it arrived not working properly; if it comes damaged/defective, Amazon should handle that.

May require additional adaptor on newer Cannons
Great product - but it will NOT work with the Cannon EOS R50 as designed. I had to buy a separate adaptor from a third party site. Then the flashed worked perfectly. Nice quality, good speed and brightness. Excellent flash for the price, just make sure your mount will work.

Great with Sony and Canon
3 rd one I had purchased. Works great. Same quality as a name brand. Works on Sony A7iv and Canon 5d mark ii. Highly recommend over the expensive name brand

Great bang for your buck
This is a solid flash for an amazing price! I’ve been a pro wedding photo for 10 years now and have used these flashes for a few years. I had one break after years of use, so I replaced it with the same one since I know they perform and I’m familiar with the controls. I use rechargeable AA batteries in them and they last all night.

Powerful ... REALLY Powerful
It's VERY POWERFUL actually and actually works in the day time fairly well. if you know how to use light and now jam ISO to ISO 50, you can get some very spectacular shots. The batteries I have are 2400maH... They lasted FOREVER. I pop off 1/1 full pops. Let me say this, you can get professional shots without needing some super expensive "studio light" as they call it. The speedlight works just fine 9-10 for what you need unless you absolutely need 500watts of power in a studio.. Now the next thing is the actual power... this thing will eat those gels, space them out and not use that silly plastic crap the send with it, it will burn clean through with enough pops especially if your production is fast. However the colors produced are awesome. little whimpy on the mini gels but they work!. LASTY, this thing is extremely tight to twist, do not hold your camera and twist it around because it will tear your camera hotshoes to bits/. Hold the lower part of the light housing and twist around the top part. That's the only thing, that don't bother me at all. If you need a speedlight, this is the only one I would ever get, actually about to order another to match this one because it obliterates my Altura photo brand which is smaller put the light at full pop is so weak that this one completely smothers it.

Great product
It was definitely my fault for not reading. This product clearly states it’s manual not ttl. But with proper use and a few YouTube videos you can get the hang of it. Feels great and words great.

No TTL, do not get confused by the tt in the name. Fantastic manual flashes!!! Powerfull, robust, easy to operate, fast recycle times, high speed sync, great source of external light! If you are looking for a ttl flash look at the lithium batteries powered models.
