Heartstopper #2: A Graphic Novel

These graphic novels are just so adorable, Nick and Charlie are so sweet together, and watching their relationship grow, and seeing the strong relationships they have with their family is just so fantastic. This story is so important. The message and the representation is fantastic to see out in the world and being popularized.

If you’re still in the closet, this graphic novel is for you. So heartwarming… and understanding. The chemistry between them is so nice. Now the real world isn’t always so nice to us. So yeah… in the end it is important that you can talk to someone. There are people who will understand you and how you feel. We deserve to live and love openly. Must read. And that’s the reason I give it 5 stars. Even tho the story is predictable but necessary for people in similar situations.

I love this story so much! It’s a beautiful love story. I enjoy the character development for Nick & Charlie.

Definitely a great follow up! This series is super wholesome, and while the stakes are very low it’s probably one of the best coming out narratives I’ve ever read. I just wish there was a big more going on. The main plot is very strong, but I just feel like it needed something else to fill out the edges.

Who doesn’t love a good Heartstopper book? I collected all the volumes after watching the Netflix show and this one is amazing. I recommended all the volumes honestly.

Este volumen fue ideal para hacer de los personajes adolescentes más creíbles y redondeados. Aquí la autora tuvo la oportunidad de hacer que nos introdujéramos en la cabeza de uno de los protagonistas, y la forma en la que fue desenvolviendo la trama se sintió bastante natural. ¡Entusiasmado por seguir leyendo más de esta historia! Las expectativas ahora están bastante altas, estoy intrigado en ver cómo continúan las cosas.

There are lots of sexualities other than gay and straight. 🧡 Anyway, you don't have to work it out, like, immediately; I didn't just wake up one day like “Oh look, guess I'm gay now 🧡 🧡💛 I just cannot get over how WHOLESOME, KIND AND CUTE these graphic novels are 😍😍 Struggling with a relationship and defining your sexuality are really big themes to be dealing with while in high school. Nick is just so kind and protective and Charlie just being so shy and anxious it was nice to see them go out with friends, spend time together and learn more about each other ☺️ The Paris trip also seems like a fun time 😋 I am so glad I ordered the next 3 books so quickly after reading volume 1 🤣 they are just so easy to read and so heartwarming 🥰

Libro bonito bonito para quienes disfruten estas lecturas. He tenido la oportunidad de leerlo y estoy gratamente sorprendido con su final. La calidad de los materiales del libro es excepcional, lo que garantiza una durabilidad prolongada. Además, su diseño ergonómico facilita su uso diario, aportando comodidad y eficiencia. Sin duda, recomiendo este producto a quienes buscan fiabilidad y excelencia en su categoría.

Ok, não é sempre que eu digo isto... Mas este segundo volume TOTALMENTE superou o primeiro. Ao mesmo tempo em que Alice Oseman mantém os altos níveis de fofura do qual nós já fomos agraciados lá na parte 1, aqui ela tem tempo também para se esmerar por momentos mais delicados e dramáticos, no que bati palmas de pé. Enquanto no anterior, o foco parecia ser Charlie e a sua paixão secreta por Nicki, desta vez os holofotes se voltam para o jogador de Rúgbi - dele se descobrindo, e aceitando quem ele é, e toda esta jornada pela qual o personagem precisa passar. Se antes eu já gostava dele, agora eu gosto ainda mais - pois ele é um rapaz adorável, e que merece ser protegido. Se no volume 1 eu li tudo do dia para a noite, aqui eu decidi me deliciar com cada quadrinho e página desenhada - afinal, o volume 3 só deve sair no começo do ano que vem. E, não vou negar, fui muito agraciado por isto, pois eu senti que a narrativa da série ganhou mais corpo e volume nesta segunda parte, e a autora trata assuntos chaves com tanta delicadeza e responsabilidade que passam uma mensagem positiva para o leitor e também deixa os personagens mais tridimensionais. Sim, a trama continua simples e bastante cotidiana... Mas é inegável o carisma que ela trás para as personalidades e os diálogos. . Enfim, sem surpresas: Fui cativado por completo. E necessito da continuação. É isto.
