Hair Care Double Bundle – Two-Step Protein Treatment (4 fl oz) & Balancing Moisturizer (8 fl oz)

My wavy hair was looking kind of limp and lifeless so I decided to see if I needed a protein treatment. It wasn't a DRAMATIC difference so I guess I wasn't too protein depleted but it did improve my hair. It's fuller, shinier, and the curly waves have better definition and staying power. I also don't need a leave-in conditioner because my hair is so soft now. The product is watery as others stated but I didn't find the smell to be unpleasant. I put it in a water bottle for easier application. The conditioning treatment smells really nice and worked great! It's hard to tell in the pictures but I have a lot of spiral waves and they were even more defined after this treatment. Especially the under layers that normally don't curl as well. I'll continue using this every 4-6 weeks just to maintain balance. Really like this product!

This protein treatment was EXACTLY what my hair needed to bring back the balance of strength along with moisture into my hair! I had shine that I hadn’t seen in months and my hair is happy. My hair is afro textured with some curls. This will now be a staple when I need a protein boost to help my hair maintain its health! The instructions are easy to follow and although the product is runny in consistency, hang over the sink or in the shower while you do it and it will work out just fine. The outcome is so worth it!

Wow! I was really surprised by how effective this was! After the very first treatment, my hair was thicker, less porous, with less breakage, and less hair fall. The protein product does not smell good. Had an unpleasant smell and it’s very sticky. I put it in a spray bottle and stood in the shower to spray it all in my hair. You do NOT want this stuff all of your bathroom floor and counters/sinks. Once the protein is applied thoroughly, use a hair dryer to apply heat til it’s dry and stiff all over then rinse, use the balancing moisturizer and I added a hydrating moisture mask after that (amika hydro rush). I did all this to repair my hair after bleaching and I couldn’t be more pleased!

Love this ! I have fine high porosity 4c hair and it definitely get the job done ! My hair feels healthier after each use but I recommend to not overdue it because of protein overload. Only thing is the product can get messy and sticky and the smell.

I have very damaged, brittle hair from years of coloring and I've tried so many products. My hairdresser suggested this and I tried it. It really made a difference in my hair! The texture is softer, less frizzy and shiner. This is a two step process so be prepared to follow the directions; it matters. Im not sure how the first part reacts and treats the hair but it works and the second part is conditioner. Affordable and worth it to try it. Also, there is easily five or more applications in each bottle. Good buy.

Works just as stated. It really does slow, or even stop, hair breakage. I hadn't used it in a decade, but I am impressed by the new and pleasant smell. I used it after I chemically processed, and permanently colored my hair. Breakage and fall out was minimal. It is pricey, but worth every penny, as it is a well known product with proven results. Make sure you use the 2 step reconstructer as directed and follow through with the balancing moisturizer for visible results. Do not substitute. They were made to complement each other. Oh, also do not use it sooner than 4 weeks so you don't overprocess your hair with too much protein.

The ApHoogee protein solution (white bottle) works best and much more manageable when poured in a spray bottle and sprayed throughout the hair. The cream moisturizing condition I received may be from an old lot. It was extremely difficult to squeeze out of the bottle and a real time-consuming chore to then apply. I use very high quality masques and intense conditioners on my hair and they are very thick but easily come out of their containers for use.

Extremely good for hair. Used it for a while and fixed my curls. Revived my dead hair. Best hair product I’ve ever used

This protein treatment is absolutely amazing! My hair was very over-hydrated, and this product saved it. I'm attaching before and after photos, my curls bounced back.

Followed the instructions but, unfortunately my hair now feels 'stripped' of any remaining moisture. Very disappointing as now have to try and find a way to repair even further damaged hair.
