Plastabs with Zerust Rust Prevention and Protection 1" x 3" - Pack of 10

Definitely helps to minimize rusting on my hand tools especially through the winter when they are used less often(and therefore not wiped down with WD40 as often. ) Great product for cold humid areas ( Ohio). I replace these every couple of years to maximize their effectiveness.

This stuff really works in preventing rust from accumulating on metal tools. I throw a couple of tabs in each toolbox, and they work extremely effectively even in humid South Florida. This is an outstanding, cost-effective rust preventing solution.

I think maybe it does help I think it does work , the volume for money quality functionality I may change the review not sure

I'm gonna get a 4 star. Just because I got it in a bag. There's no smell, no nothing. I'm just gonna put it with my guns and storage and hope for the best. But i'm really putting my faith into you guys.I really hope this works

I’m not a fan of how these come. Loose in a ziplock bag and not the yellow sealed bag in the photo. I’m going on seller reputation and integrity here… …as for VCI and ZeRust products? I trust them. Have used them for years. ZeRust and Cortec are the only two I will use. Buy from names you can trust not just anything that says VCI. Anyone can sell you yellow plastic or a blue bag and call it VCI. When you learn it’s not real your stuff will be rusted and you will be *#%^. Capsules, drawer liner, bags, paper and now these tabs. It’s cheap insurance IMO. You probably paid a fortune for your guns, tools, whatever so protect them for not much money. Write on them when you installed them or put a note on your phone’s calendar to replace them. Two years goes by fast!

Creek fisherman here that dunks his tackle backpack quite often. Works very well... Could save a lot of money on hooks as even my cheaper hooks that would normally rust after a couple weeks lasted longer than my VMC, Gamakatsu, and Owner hooks did before.... not that I'm not enjoying even longer life out of my better hooks too. I do suggest replacing them after a year or so to get the most out of them. I'm not sure about VOCs. It is solid and has a limited life so it clearly emits chemicals of some kind... so I hesitate to give 5 stars and will hopefully remember to update when I'm able to learn more.

These things could be absolutely wonderful yet when I opened up the package they were in a cheap zip lock bag which was already opened. I live in Pittsburgh which isn't exactly the driest climate so imagine these going from one warehouse to another in the back of a truck then sitting on my porch on a fairly damp day. Just do the math. I don't know how old they are and how much life is left in them because they weren't sealed. If I see good results maybe I'll give another better review but until then either the seller or manufacturer should come up with some better packaging.

Easy to use just put one strip within a container that has what you want to protect. I often cut the strips to use in small containers. I haven't needed to replace one yet as I haven't seen any rust on stuff in the plastic boxes or padded bags I use them in.
