A great sounding cd player
I ordered this CD player to replace the Denon player which was getting more reluctant to play CDR's. Shipped from Germany delivery was only one week. This is quite a basic CD player but it does what it is intended to do which is play CDs and give you basic LCD display but in my opinion that's all you need. Considering the price, I was pleasantly surprised by it's build quality. but the thing that surprised me the most was the sound. I suddenly realised my Denon CD player sounded awful compared to this one. You can hear better stereo separation and distinct higher-quality dynamic range. (This also depends on your amp and speakers). Plays CDR's were no issues at all. There is also a remote control which you need a CR2025 battery. This Model does have a stop button on the front panel. If you are after a CD player with a lot more bells and whistles, you will need to pay a lot more money but for this unit it is great value for money.

Very cheap and basic
Very cheap and very basic CD player..i deal if your kids are getting interested in the physical format like a starter CD player..and ideal for them to learn and listen to their amps and turntables are cheap to tho i only own the CD player which they should have sent me the one with radio tuner they sent me the model that didn't have thst feature tho they were very unhelpful and hard to get hold of i decided to keep it as a back up player if my main CD player breaks down.. tho missing the track function on display do you dont know what track your on unless you know the CD album tracks and timings of the track show up a good few seconds after it tells you once that number track your on. The system has one good feature tho you can switch it off with the on/off switch on the back so you dont have to leave it on standby mode on the front button another thing to point is the remote takes a Watch type battery..not AAAA batteries like most remotes...and sound isnt great im using £20 decent RCA leads conected to my Onkyo £400 amp and have to keep turning up volume..where as i dont have to with Onkyo CD player that's loud enough..so for a cheap starter separate set up its Ok or for a back up until you get a better replacement for your main CD Player...would i use it as a main CD player..no i wouldn't..i should have known it would be very basic 4 out of 5 because they sent me the wrong one and the company is hard to get hold of to complain to and could have done with some better features..it would have made a great main player for the bargain price of £99.. but it does a job of back up if and when i ever need it

Playing crap not worth money paid.
Total crap, absolutely not worth the money paid. Everything that is posted by the manufacturer is not true. After inserting the disc it does not display the time or the number of tracks. The mechanism itself works like a diesel engine. Generally the sound of this thing is a joke. I recommend staying away from it. I did not return it only because sometimes my 40 year old Technics does not work very well and I have to have something as a replacement and I do not feel like looking.
