Made a 3 day Water cooling adventure into 1.
You may think "Oh this is expensive, I will just use the EK or Corsair bending kit" and while I agree I prefer EK's rectangular 90-degree and 45-degree bender, I promise you this cutter is a godsend. Please save yourself the hours of hassle trying to get a straight cut with the saws that EK or Corsair give you. This kit is all you need and is what you should get.If you're thinking "Well I have all my water cooling stuff, now I just need to get tools"GET THISBut I have to agree 80 bucks for all this stuff is really expensive but you just spent 100 Bucks on a radiator and another 100 on a waterblock, this thing pays for itself by saving your time 10 fold.

I underestimated the importance of good tools and I'm glad I spent the money on this.
I am currently working through building my first loop, like almost everyone that is probably looking at purchasing this product. I spent a few hours looking at different tool sets ranging from $20 to upwards of $100. I eventually chose this one and I'm completely satisfied with my choice. The toolset works great, especially the tube cutting tool, and it has made working with hard tubing (16mm) not so bad.Now that I am going through the build process, it is hit or miss whether I actually use the bending dyes to make the angles. Sometimes, I find it is almost easier just to get a good bend doing it by hand. Nonetheless, if you want to use the pre-cast angles, the tool works great as long as you get the tubing hot enough. I am using the Thermaltake PETG V-Tubler 16mm tubing and I find it is very forgiving … when I mess up, I am often able to just bend the tube back to straight without ruining or distorting the piece and then I try again.TLDR of this review: spend the little bit of extra money compared to other sets and get yourself a nice set of tools such as this. You have already invested a ton of money in a custom loop and this will just make the whole process that much easier rather than fudging around with cheap cutters and other cheap tools.

Works as advertized if....
No reason for this stuff not to get 5 stars. Honestly. So, for the silicone insert I used olive oil. I LIGHTLY coated it to allow it to slide in and out. If you don't, it will be stuck!HAVE Patience! When heating up the tubes, take your time. I also used work gloves so I wasn't burning my hands doing it. Expect to fail a few times till you get it right. Practice makes perfect! I have overheated tubes and under heated tubes. When your bending, go slow. Then hold the position while the tube cools before releasing it.That's just a few things I learned doing this. Watch youtube videos. More than one because some people have different methods. personally I turn the tube when heating it up evenly before I bend it so you don't get a micro fracture. Enjoy!Oh, and when done, run without the PC being on for an hour or two to make sure you don't have any leakage! Cover the inside with paper towels.

I would rate it 5 stars if...
I would rate it 5 stars if they made the insert twice as long. The insert is way to short and if you hope not to have elbow connectors join your tubes, if the shortest end of your tube is 6" or shorter, you are golden. Also soak your insert in pure olive oil before you put it in the tube and heat the tube. That tube compresses the insert, no lubrication and you will not be able to pull your insert out! I tried some spray oil, but it contained water and fogged up the inside of the tube. Pure olive oil has 0% water, thus, no fogging. Also you can mark where to bend your tubes on the insert with a pencil mark. Just rub off the pencil mark easily.I had no issues with cutting PETG like other people had. I did notice that you could accidentally make a mistake and not seat the tubing in the cutter correctly. Must be what people had issues with. Also the 90 degree mandrel is not 90 degrees. Had to adjust the angle by putting a little pressure on the angle thanks to petg's flexibility.

Absolutely CRUCIAL to any build that isnt just straight lined non bend builds.
Without a doubt the most crucial tool in the entire build. I tried free handing it like they do in some videos, but that did not turn out well, but this changed everything. I will recommend this to ANYONE building a hard-line build. And i read some other peoples reviews before I purchased about how one person said it cracked there tube and another person said they can free hand it better, but they were definitely using the tools improperly. My only concern is the price is a little steep it feels like it should be about 10-15 cheaper than it is. But its still worth EVERY PENNY as it is crucial to any build thats not just straight lines. I couldnt have bent the shapes i did without it. No way.

The best bending kit money can buy
The entire kit is robust metals. The cutter is sharp and effective, silicon insert is exactly the right fit (many kits Ive tried have inserts smaller than advertised to the point of being unusable) and the bending angles fit the pipes perfectly. While pricey, the money saved on pipes more than makes up for it. Youll get perfect bends much more often
