Great for the clumsy boyfriend
My boyfriend recently got new furniture in his bedroom and kept smacking his toes at night. He gets up way too often to use the restroom in the middle of the night. These lights have been great for him!A few things to note, the adhesive included in the kit is terrible. Didn’t stick under his bed frame for even a night. We used our own tape. And I hate I didn’t buy the ones with a dimmer because when I stay with him his lights wake me up (I’m a light sleeper). And the animals trigger them so something they go off in the middle of the night.But for basic nights alone, he says they are the perfect brightness and the motion detector was positioned perfectly to catch his feet when he gets out of bed.

Under bed lighting
Length good for half way around queen size bed. Good brightness to illuminate floor around bed at night without disturbing sleep. Motion detection mode works well but wish time on period was a lot more than 20 seconds . Maybe more like 5 minutes. Sticky tape let go after a day . Might have to find another way to attach it to bottom of bed rails.

Okay, but Install with caution
I like the functionality but it has some issues. The cord from the led strip to the sensor is not very long at all, so if you place it under the bed it becomes difficult to get the sensor in a place that will detect motion. My biggest issue is that when I was installing the second strip, it actually snapped in half at the point t where the cord meets the LED light strip and rendered the entire thing useless. I had to purchase a replacement because I want them on both sides of the end, but to have it snap SO easily is extremely frustrating. Make sure you are super gentle when installing.

What we needed
My father had a stroke not too long ago, so for Christmas got this for his bed so that when he gets up out of bed in the middle of the night he can see what is on the floor to prevent him from tripping until he can get to a light. We had to get a bit creative with the motion sensor because if it is too low, his cat will set it off, but the included mounting tape and hooks help keep it all in place.

Not what it seems
Item description started they were rechargeable did not need to be plugged in. What we received is not even close. So if you want a plug and play this is perfect. If you rechargeable look elsewhere.

Adjustable brightness
These lights work as described I used zip ties to install on bed frame instead of using the adhesive backing.
