Blackhawk to Safariland Cross Platform Adapter

100% gets a Blackhawk Omnivore or old Serpa holster to mate up to a Safariland QLS Fork.

I I bought three of these for me and my sons. We installed them on Blackhawk Omnivore holsters to use Safariland QLS forks with the Blackhawk holster. The adapter is well made from alluminum and comes with all of the hardware needed to install the product. It was very easy to install and we'll worth the price.

I am absolutely loving this because I have a Blackhawk T-Series holster for my m&p 40, I originally got a Blackhawk quick release but it did not work so I returned it, and I decided to get the bracket for this so then I can have the Safariland quickly for this.I find that the Safariland quick release was such a better option.So yes I do recommend this bracket for anyone.

I just received this adapter and installed it. I agree with the others that it's a bit overpriced for what you're getting. But in the manufactures defense, it's well designed, it's a quality product, very sturdy and it's made in the USA. For me that still means something. When installing pay attention to the sides being adapted. The recessed side attaches the the Blackhawk holster, mine is the Serpa olive drab. Then use some tape to secure the Safariland set connectors to hold them in place. Without doing this, its very difficult to install the Safariland QLS. Take your time with it, and tape the screws in place, merge the two and tighten it down. When your done it's going to give you just another option, and options are always valued. Totally worth it. I'm buying more for my Coyote Brown system.

As I said, it works, but one of the short screws was too short. I just used the screws that came with the holster originally and that worked fine. So, I can't give 5 stars.

This thing is exactly what I needed. I have a Taser 7 in a Blackhawk holster that I needed attached to a Safariland QLS. I prefer my Taser in the Blackhawk holster because my TQ is mounted to the front of it. The Safariland QLS is obviously not compatible with a Blackhawk holster and this gadget resolved that issue very quickly.Just remember; BLACKHAWK SCREWS ARE THICKER AND WILL NOT WORK WITH SAFARILAND THREADS. So, don’t lose those.Also, an easy way to prevent the little washer things (don’t know what they’re called) from falling out is to tape them and then remove them once everything is screwed in. Very easy to install and it’s solid.

Using in between my Blackhawk! Omnivore and Safariland QLS. I was considering modifying the QLS to fit. But when you consider that you need to ad spacers to make that work it makes this a much better option. Came with everything and was very easy to install. Highly recommended quality product.

This overpriced adapter works well for the job it was designed to do. However I felt that connecting a T-Series blackhawk holster to the safailand QLS put the holster to close to the belt and I was unable to get my thumb in to hit the release without issue. I'm using the T Series on a blackhawk quick release setup and it give my Shrek thumb a little more room to fit in and be able to hit the weapon release everytime. Will keep it for a rainy day though.
