The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%, 30 ml, Vitamin C

Have heard that The Ordinary is discontinuing this product, which would be a shame. The combination of Vit C and Alpha Arbutin works well on my skin. The mix isn't too strong and works well on coloured skin prone to hyperpigmentation. Consistent use has lightened my acne scars significantly. Layering this with a good moisturizer will ensure your skin doesn't dry out. It has a light oily finish, so it is best used 1-2hrs before bedtime to allow it sufficient time to absorb.

Price: in the same ballpark figure as its original price, this could come out a little more affordable for people who would have to pay a hefty shipping charge if they buy it at a different web store. Together this serum is great for treating hyper pigmentation. The effects of the serum are enhanced when followed with a moisturizer and sunscreen. Using this serum and not using a sunscreen can lead to damaging effects on the skin and in some cases, have the opposite effect (as with all Vitamin C products). There are milder versions for beginners and stronger versions for advanced users available. Results: Bought it for my aunt, saw visible results in 6 weeks of usage along with a moisturizer and sunscreen.

Love th vitamin c. I am Oily acne prone skin with dark spots. That’s help me to reduce spots and gives a glow to my skin even out ur texture. Even whiteheads also. I’m not getting pimples also like befor very moderate one only. Love th oiliness of it gives xtra moistrzr. But remember it needs time to show th result mine takes 3 months.

Very think for oily skin

i would prefer it for night time use. not too oily though, gives slight shine due to oiliness and bit of tint i would say.

I believe this product is working well, after I apply it I feel some heat but it fades away immediately. However it is actually an oil including vitamin c. Because of this, I have to wait for 15 minutes after applying this product and then I can put on my sunscreen. I cannot layer my skin with other products after this oil, because it would be too much stuff on my face. Thus, I recommend it for people who have dry skin.

Wonderful no negatives

I had a horrible breakout which left me with redness and scars but I combine the vit C with retinol to even out the skin tone now. It feels oily at first when you put on the skin but it's not oil and it's fine for oily skin. Works slow but just needs patience and persistence. Also the price is awesome. Recommend it.

this was gorgeous its mild while effective vit.c it didn't give irritation or breakout my skin. this must give a try for those who love V.C in their routine of skin care. i will definetly repurchase it!👍👍👍😃
