My favourite nighttime moisturizer! It’s hydrating and absorbs without being too sticky. No strong scent and the pot lasts for months. Keeps any breakouts to a MINIMUM.

Old Product - Truly Glowing Isn't Even Sold by Burt's Bees Any More!
Let me be perfectly clear. I loved the Truly Glowing gel cream. It was perfection. However, Burt's Bees doesn't even sell it any more. They've reformulated the product and it's now made with hyaluronic acid. If you go to their website you'll see the product has even been renamed.Hydrating Gel Cream is the new name. THIS IS OLD PRODUCT. The new hydrating gel cream is not sold ANYWHERE on Amazon. So if you're looking for the original Truly Glowing product, you can try your luck.Anyway, I wasn't paying attention and thought I was catching a good deal. I mean, how could a product that normally costs $18 be only $10? That's a great deal right? No, it's not.As others have already mentioned, my package also came in a clearly very old box. The box is literally FADING which makes me think the boxes were in the sun. The cream is separating and isn't the creamy white color. This is a yellowy-tinted cream. I have a feeling the problem is it was stored improperly (like in a hot room) which is why they're offloading it at such a discount. However, it could also be a matter of refilling the jars with some other knock-off brand to dupe us. Not today!Even though the seller says Burt's Bees, I think their distributer or warehouse is to blame. This is not the quality we expect of Burt's Bees and I'm actually writing them a letter as soon as I submit this review. They need to know about this because I am 100% certain this is not up to their fine standards.I'm not ashamed to return a product. I love Burt's Bees but I've learned my lesson. I'll order the new product directly from Burt's Bees. I really don't trust using this on my face.Not every bargain is a bargain.

NOT the right texture. Product looks old/expired/separated and liquified, NOT GEL.
The media could not be loaded. I wish I would have opened these right when I got them. I was still using up a gel cream that I bought in a retail location. Unfortunately, it seems too late to return them (I will try to reach out to Burt's bees directly).This is NOT the right texture AT ALL from the store bought version. I was able to find some stock in a CVS today and you can see that the gel cream DOES NOT MOVE when I turn the jar over. That's the way the original jar was that I bought. These jars that I ordered from Amazon are like the texture of kefir and would pour right out if I turned them over.I feel heaviness and disappointment that this came directly from Burt's bees and that they are selling essentially (what appears to be) expired product. My skin is soooo sensitive and it's so hard to find creams for my face that don't make my skin burn. I love how light this gel cream feels on my skin and how hydrated my face feels. I was able to hunt down two more jars locally (and opened them in the store to make sure they were "right) and will continue to search for more. Maybe I'll keep them in the fridge to preserve their shelf life? I feel sadness that it looks like Burt's Bees are discontinuing/have discontinued this product, and the new ones are smaller and in plastic pumps and new formulas..... UGH! oh well.

I’ve been using it every morning for two years now. Great results. No sticky residue. I use and then use CC moisturizer. Love it!

Great, when it isn’t rancid
The first time I ordered, I loved the product! It worked wonderfully, and I even found myself feeling more confident to skip make more often. But the second time I ordered, the lotion was runny/separated and smelled awful, like many other reviews mentioned. I returned it and got a replacement, and a replacement was also bad. I’m not sure if I was sent expired product (it came in a bubble wrap bag, not the paper box you get it in from the store), or if the warehouse is just too hot and ruined the face cream. Either way, I was sent unusable product twice.
