Buy a different one
I bought this because I thought it was one long 6’ bar with brackets. (I wanted to just mount two of the brackets and put a mirror in between them.) It’s not: it’s two 3’ foot bars with 3 brackets. The connector bracket has to be mounted exactly in the middle. And because you must mount the brackets into studs, it’s impossible to get this on the wall in an aesthetically pleasing way. Buy your own screws. The worst part of this item is the very low-quality screws. I stripped about half of them and couldn’t get one of the brackets totally flush as a result. Worried about stability. The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is that the bar is nice and thick, and the brackets are very sturdy albeit their incomplete installation is not—due to the cheap screws. All in all there are too many other choices to buy this particular barre. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I’m not returning it because it’s already on my wall
