Cranium is a great game to play with family and friends. It definitely brings out people's competitive nature and makes for quite a few laughs. However, you need a minimum of four players since it is a team game, so keep that in mind. Unfortunately if you are less than four people you cannot play this game. I really love the variety of activities that get you thinking, from sculpting with clay, to drawing something with eyes closed, to humming songs, and charades. I don't recommend this game for children because a lot of the prompts are challenging even for adults so I don't think it would be enjoyable for kids. I also think that many children will not be familiar with the songs and words on many of the cards. There is a bit of a learning curve to the game as well, especially to understand how to win the game. I do not recommend purchasing the game at 33$ either; it is way too pricey. Wait for a price drop.

A box full of family fun for those cold winter nights when the kids have been bad and the TV is definitely turned... down to low. Most ages can play, although be prepared to have some people play better than others. After all you need a big cranium to know everything!! Cranium - Family Board Game
