I have been using rechargeable AA lighting in my home and workshop for nearly two decades and while there have always been a couple here and there that fail quickly, I also have many previous-gen Amazon Basics AA batteries (the ones with black labels) that are more than 12 years old in daily use and still successfully recharging each and every month.
