When I received the monitor the screen had a crake and I did care abt it but I tried turning it on it hasn’t worked and it’s been 2 years since bought.

There is no DP cable, it is clear that the screen is used and not new

I spent a lot of time looking for the best monitor for my computer, and after all that time, I saw this monitor and I bought it. It's now work very well. The quality is vey good even its speaker is really good too. I think it is good also for game, I don't play games, but it's features like 75HZ, IPS, 1ms for time response, FreeSync technology, so all these features are give the games very high performance. I'm an IT technician so I know very well in monitors and computers, so if you are looking for a monitor with super features with good price, I advice you to take this one, even if you search for monitor with over $150, you may will not find a monitor has all these features together with current price. Also its type is Acer, Acer make professional monitors, and the best in the world.

Al comprar este monitor estaba a la expectativa de su funcionalidad, porque busqué demasiados monitores gamer en el mercado y este era el más accesible. Sin embargo, cumplió y sobrepasó todas mis expectativas. Es un monitor bellísimo, la calidad de los colores es magnífica, su tiempo de respuesta es de 1ms a 144 Hz ¿¡Qué más quieres?! Yo lo utilizo para mi computadora gamer, pero tambén lo tengo conectado a mi Nintendo Switch. Tiene altavoces, y se escuchan muy bien. Tiene diversos modos de imagen, yo lo utilizo en el modo eye care porque paso largas jornadas en la computadora y nunca he resentido dichas horas. Es la mejor opción, creeme.

I chose this over ASUS VG279Q after reading reviews of ASUS' numerous dead pixel problem. I was on a HP 27BW 27" 60Hz IPS Monitor with a GTX1060 6GB to begin with, and just need higher refresh rate, so my Fortnite close up combats are not always a blur with a predictable trip back to the lobby. That said, I still have my finger crossed until seeing this monitor for myself. The monitor has a beautiful design and has no dead pixel, which is great. It is super bright and I need to dial down the brightness to 65. On Nvidia control panel, I reduced Red Brightness to 42, and Green Brightness to 47 then monitor looks pretty good. My Fortnite gameplay has since become much more enjoyable, and am landing shots that were previously not possible when on 60Hz. I tried turning on the VBR but it dimmed the screen considerably, which unfortunately cannot be improved by dialing up the brightness. The monitor has a plenty fast response time so the VBR is not really necessary anyway. One thing I noticed is when playing videos, the videos look more noisy, it may have to do with the faster refresh rate or the matte screen (the HP 27BW has a gloss screen). You will need a monitor stand or mount for this monitor to adjust it to comfortable height. I got this during special and this is really the best priced 1080p 27" IPS 144Hz gaming monitor out there with amazing quality. I only realize that I need to have Window 10 (still on Win 8.1), to be able to turn on G-sync in Nvidia control panel (numerous reports say it works okay with G-Sync), but I see no noticeable screen tearing/blurring so I am still fine with what I have now. Get it and you will be very happy afterward.

Many monitors with these specs cost well into the $300 range, but Acer captures all the needs of the modern 1080p gamer for only $200. I love the 144hz refresh rate. I've only ever used 60hz monitors and let me say 144hz definitely makes a difference when it comes to gaming. I played GTA V on this monitor side by side my old 60hz monitor and the image quality was astoundingly more sleek and defined. The monitor also has an eco feature which dims the brightness and makes colors easier on the eyes as you game late into the night. Another reason I went with this monitor is because of the reputation Acer has for good quality monitors. Other gaming monitors competing in this price range try and offer the same specs but do so at the cost of quality. I've had this monitor two months now and my brother who bought a Scepter brand monitor is already noticing dead pixels. The only downside I can think of for this monitor is its lack of a built in speaker. For some people this may be a deal breaker, but you can honestly pick up $10 speakers on Amazon that would have the same quality audio as traditional built in speakers (which is what I did). With all this in mind I expect to keep this monitor in use for the next several years until 4k gaming becomes a more realistic option for the casual gamer. Definitely worth the money.
