This is such a fine piece of workmanship and it does the job as well. A tool I didn't know existed until my favorite 5.11 socks sprung a leak- too pricey to toss, so I learned to darn! A great tool made to craftsman levels of construction.

Came in time for Christmas. Did look like the package had been opened and taped up again.

I hand knit a lot of socks, which means lots of darning. Overall, this worked fine, but I found the shape awkward. I would have preferred a rounder, larger surface.
