Coleman WeatherMaster Tent with Screen Room

Es una excelente casa de campaña muy amplia y fácil de armar, si es algo pesada pero vale la pena ya que los tubos son rígidos lo cual le permitió resistir un norte (viento muy fuerte) fuerte en la playa, mientras que las casa de mis padres fácilmente la derribó el viento, pero esa era de las varillas delgadas que actualmente traen casi todas las casas de campaña, de igual manera tiene levantado el piso lo cual evitó que se metiera el agua de la playa cuando subió la marea, sin embargo el único detalle es que con la lluvia fuere si filtra agua por las costuras, pero siendo justos era lluvia y viento extremo, lo que si es que cambiamos las anclas por unas varillas largas y resistentes ya que las que vienen al igual que otras tiendas son pequeñas y frágiles. Recomiendo 100% esta casa de campaña.

First off, it has been a while since I went camping - in my high school years. Now I am a father of a 9 year old who had never experienced sleeping in the outdoors. After planning a quick impromptu outing with my neighbor and his older son, I purchase the Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 6 Tent. I figured it was more than what I needed, but would give us room to grow (bigger is always better, right). Went on our trip to Ape Caves near MT Saint Helens and the tent was awesome. Everyone could have slept in our tent, but it was only just me and my son. We had Coleman's twin air mattresses zipped together making it a King size mattress and still could have fit another twin mattress with plenty more room for storage and movement. Headroom is tremendous, not an issue. The screened in area is a bonus and will be great for my wife who doesn't always enjoy eating where flying bugs can be a problem (maybe a place to appease her). The side door, which is stiffened with the insertion of two fiberglass poles, is a great addition making entering and exiting the tent a breeze. It closes and is held by hook and loop fasteners and can also be zipped completely up. Set-up was not too difficult by myself. I did practice in my backyard prior to leaving and took the opportunity to let my son sleep in it before the trip. It definitely takes longer than your typical dome style tent (which is what my neighbors had on our trip). They pitched their tents and started eating before I could finish setting up mine with my son. Granted, based on the size and style of this tent, extra time for set-up is a given. Not as quick and easy as a dome tent, but definitely not difficult to accomplish even with minimal assistance from a 9 year old. Size can be an issue if you are not careful. This thing is just 1 foot away from being classified as an RV (not to mention needing a motor and wheels). I knew the dimensions when I purchased the tent, but be careful when selecting your camping sites, so that ample room is available for this behemoth. In conclusion, it is definitely not an over-night, backpacking tent which is obvious by reading the specs and looking at the pictures of the tent (and no one said it was). But, for it's intended purpose, it is a great tent. No workmanship issues were noted when setting it up and using for a few days. Great amount of room and other features. Hasta el momento ha funcionado como se imagino, a pasado por lluvia y viento y no ha tenido practicamente ningun problema, tiene un pequeño goteo, de una ventana mal sellada, pero nada que no se solucione de forma sencilla, la resistencia al viento a funcionado muy bien, puedes meter 2 camas queen inflables, y sobra espacio para una mesa y otras cosas, en caso de requerir para mas personas cabe una cama matrimonial mas de ser necesario. Recomiendo una segunda lona con espacion entre el techo y esta, que proteja del sol intenso por que se acumula mucho calor interno

My son has not used the tent yet, due to bad weather, so apart from saying it looked good and complete.

A barraca é muito boa, bem espaçosa, facil de montar mesmo pelo tamanho, mas no primeiro uso, ao puxar parte de um dos arcos centrais saiu um pedaço na minha mão, arrebentando o sistem de elástico interno que mantém as 3 partes que montam o arco. A Coleman Brasil me daria assistência técnica se eu tivesse a nota fiscal, que a Amazon não me dá por ser uma compra internacional, então devolvi o produto.
