Excellent Book for UPSC/State PCS Pre & Mains
I think it can be substitute for Spectrum book which is very boring and very hard language....as compared to spectrum it has maps, images of every caracters of history, very easy and understandable language(very less need of dictionary as compared to spectrum) and the PYQs of pre and mains after every chapter also covers topic wise analysis and helps in understanding how question can be formed on that topic....and prelims capsules also helps in last minute rapid revision of the topics......overall good package of Modern History topics for both UPSC & State PCS (Prelims & Mains) exam.

Excellent stuff w.r.t upsc
The book contains all the content that are given in spectrum but in a quality manner . according to time line . Tables are given. Photos of freedom fighter and places are given and also detialed life aspects are also given of every notable person . It is super than spectrum in respect of adjustment of content. Otherwise content Is same

One stop solution for Modern History of India
This book is covering the modern history portion completely and comprehensively. It is student-friendly, simple to understand, and interesting to read. It is framed very well. It's definitely worth buying and recommending if you are a serious UPSC aspirant.

Informative and crisp
I was very much skeptical before buying this book but after purchase i can surely say it's the best...very crispy the factors and data are mentioned... Ps - many pages are missing from socio religious movement 🥺

Good book for preparation of upsc and psc
Provide details of topic much effectively sufficient enough to write coventional paper. For prelims and objective type few more details required. Overall good book.
