Great case, a little thicker than my fender wood/leather case but nonetheless a sturdy and durable case. I would recommend this case. Fits my PRS SE 24

This is great case that actually fits a larger variety of my guitars than I expected. Here is a list of what fits from my personal collection: LyxPro 39" Electric Guitar TL Series Monoprice Indio Series 6 String Basswood Electric Guitar Ambidextrous Bonde (610261) GEAR IT GST-100 Mission Series 39 inch Full-Size Donner 39 inch Jazz Electric Guitar TL Thinline Starburst (DJC-100S) Donner Electric Guitar 39 inch DTC-100 Black Solid Body TC Ibanez GRG 7 String Solid-Body Right Metallic Light Blue, Full (GRG7221MMLB) Donner DST-152R Electric Guitar 39" Donner DST-200 Electric Guitar 39" All fit pretty nicely. The Thinline and the Ibanez Gio were a long as you could fit and a little snug at the top and bottom edge, but safely fit. Some you kind of wiggle to get the strap buttons to fit. The cushioning accomodates them and will conform over time. The case takes 4 AAA batteries and a smaller phillips to install. This is better lighter case than most. It isn't TSA lock equipped. So I would not recommend taking it on a commercial airplane. General Aviation should be fine. Bus or school bus. I would recommend it for daily use and abuse. Do not submerge it in water, but it should be rain resistant. Not something for a world tour. Get ATA Flight Case instead for that. Great for a weekend warrior wedding gig, school band, taking to school to practice after school. If you drop it it will probably crack the outter shell on concrete or asphalt. But it should keep you guitar safe. This isn't military grade, but it is a lot better than a gig bag. If you want military grade case, get a Pelican case. This is lighter and better made than a cheap $99 dollar case. The hardware seems adequate and not flimsy. It reminds me of the typical cases that they had for band instruments when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s. If you have passed the 12 month mark and still play your guitar daily, this would be a good fit for a guitar worth less than $1000. This costs about the same or less than most of my guitars. But it will work for the majority of them. I only take then out of the house one or two at a time so I don't need one for each. Just one for each style. This arrived wrapped in a manufacturer plastic bag, packaged inside a larger Amazon box with packing paper. My only complaint if the label on the case for name, address, telephone number was slightly askew and not centered in the indentation where it belongs. Thakfully, I'm not Mr. Monk.

Summary OK -ish. But it probably won’t last me very long. Expensive but I got it at a discounted rate and needed a case quickly. Buy a Hiscox case instead. Not much more in cost and far more rugged with much stronger catches - will be my next case and will probably sell the Gator if it survives! (I have a Hiscox for each of my saxophones). Though Hiscox are so good and so popular that they are often out of stock - not available on Amazon to my knowledge. GATOR Good Points: Very light Robust, solid outer casing Well padded and stiff interior Trays for gear - tuner, strings etc Size is perfect for my Yamah BB bass - just needs a little extra padding at the head end probably about 6 or 7 mm. GATOR Bad Points Useless and flimsy catches - I had to send the first one back as one catch was completely destroyed and part of it was not even in the box Replacement not boxed - just wrapped in bubble wrap - but Amazon did a great job (as usual) with a fast replacement With use, I think that the interior might start to part company with the outer LED ….. mmm, jury’s out. Good for uses in dark light at a gig (it’s main intention) but otherwise it will be little used. You need to remove the whole light unit just to put batteries in. This appears to be an afterthought ‘extra’ rather than an intentional and sensible design

I actually own 3 of these. Holds a strat or tele guitar really nice. It's not too heavy and feels sturdy. I probably wouldn't trust it on a flight but looks fine for everyday use.
