This is not the case as it was just the outer box. Nothing major but worth noting. On first impressions the lamp looks great. It is sturdy and well made for the price with only the branding on the front letting it down visually. It is powered by a standard mains plug but does not have an off switch. The dial at the front is used to increase/decrease the flow of the bubbles, however the bubble volume indicator is rather small to read with it not quite working as labelled and so requires some playing around with. The RGB lighting is wonderful and cycles through various colours every 7 seconds but there is no option to leave it on a solid colour. There is a slight humming coming from the motor which is to be expected but isn’t loud enough to be off putting.Performance.Product description states there are instructions but none are included with the lamp. How to use it or set up information has been provided from user experience. Various reviews have said to use distilled water which I purchased from Halfords for around £4. The bottles are 5L with the lamp requiring around 4.5L. Tap water may be suitable but for this review hasn’t been tested. The fish provided are known to float due to trapped air when in use with suggestions to soak in the water for 8 hours or washing detergent until they descend. I placed the fish in the tube with bubbles set to max without any pre soaking/cleaning and within 25 minutes the fish were floating up and down (see video). When turned off the fish then float to the top until turned back in again.Verdict.After leaving it running for 1 hour there have been no changes with the fish floating to the top. The noise of the motor hasn’t increased and there have been no water leakages. Purchased for a one year old who I’m sure will love it. Highly recommended

This was a present for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. It’s nice, but very noisy when turned on! Also it says to soak the fish for 8 hours before turning it on, which we did, but 2 of them still refuse to sink and just stay floating at the top. She’s happy with it though!

Really good. Son has autism and he loves the fish and lights. I used filtered water and it has worked well. Make sure you submerge the fish overnight prior to putting them in the tube otherwise you might find some float for a while.Only one fish bobbed around near the top for the first week, but now they all go up and down as they please.The pump is noisy, so please be mindful. But it is a low tone buzz if you can manage that.Good product. Had it on every day since Christmas.

Received product and immediately unpacked it and set it up as my daughter was excited to see it. It worked for about 30 seconds and that was it. Very disappointed and my daughter was very upset. Sensory lamp so seller should understand that alot of parents of SEN children are going to purchase these.

My daughter absolutely loves her fishes!! Automatic selection of lighting, not too noisy, very relaxing, easy to assemble. As sturdy as it looks to be honest just don’t leave on/unattended. The button/turner is abit flimsy but does the job. Good value for money and happy with purchase. Would recommend.

I love this lamp, my kids are so happy with it and never get bored of it. It suits all ages and has a beautiful reflection on the ceiling in the evening. The only criticism is that it is a little noisy when all the madness of children has died down you can notice the noise more. Having said that I would definitely recommend.

Only 2 of the fish move, the rest float at the top, it is quite loud but I knew that reading the reviews and it’s not an issue for me. It’s bright and looks pretty, just a shame the fish don’t move as intended.
