★★★★★ Durable, smooth-rolling luggage that makes travel easier
I recently purchased the Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage, and after using it on a few trips, I’m very impressed with the overall quality and practicality. The polycarbonate hard shell feels sturdy but still lightweight, which is exactly what you want when traveling. The exterior has a brushed texture that helps reduce visible scratches and keeps the suitcase looking good even after airport handling. One of the best features is the 360-degree spinner wheels. They roll extremely smoothly and make navigating crowded airports effortless. Instead of dragging the suitcase, it glides beside you with minimal effort. Inside, the luggage is well organized. It opens in a clamshell design with a zippered divider, cross straps, and expandable capacity, which is helpful when you need extra space for souvenirs or additional clothes. Security is also a plus because it includes a built-in TSA-approved lock, so you can secure the zippers without needing an extra lock. What I like most • Lightweight but durable hard shell • Smooth 360° spinner wheels • Expandable for extra packing space • Built-in TSA lock for security • Clean, modern design Minor things to consider • Like most hard luggage, the shell may eventually show small cosmetic scratches. • Interior organization is simple (good for most travelers but not overly fancy). Overall, this suitcase offers excellent value for the price. It’s reliable, easy to maneuver, and has all the essential features most travelers need without unnecessary extras. If you want durable, stylish luggage that performs well at airports and during trips, the Samsonite Omni 2 is a solid choice.

Spins, Glides, Survives. Period.
I bought the Samsonite Omni 2 luggage set for my boyfriend for Christmas because we travel a lot and needed something dependable — not cute-for-one-trip luggage, but a real “we’re catching flights again next month” type of set. And this delivered. First off, it’s sturdy. You can feel the quality immediately. The larger suitcase comfortably held enough clothing for a full two-week trip to the Bahamas, and he’s not exactly a “light packer.” Everything fit without the zipper feeling stressed. The wheels? Smooth. Like glide-through-the-airport-without-breaking-a-sweat smooth. And we’re avid airport runners. No dragging, no wobbling — just effortless rolling. The expandable handles are solid and sturdy too. They easily supported a travel backpack sitting on top without that scary bending feeling cheaper luggage gives. After a two week trip to The Bahamas, there were no obvious scuffs or scratches, which honestly impressed me because baggage handlers do not play nice. I did end up getting him luggage covers after that trip just to keep it looking brand new long term — but even without them, it held up beautifully. If you travel often and want something durable, spacious, and smooth to maneuver, this set is absolutely worth it. Practical gift? Yes. But also low-key an upgrade to our entire travel experience. We travel to Bimini in April.

Good suitcases SEE UPDATED REVIEW BELOW
Very well constructed and light. Casters are solid. The big case is huge (good for a weeks worth of clothing). The middle case is perfect for a long weekend. The smaller one is pretty small - basically an overnight or weekend case. Follow up May 2024 - zipper blew out of one case as other reviews have said. Was under normal use and on the 5th time using the case. Follow up November 2024 - zipper has blown out of a second case. Both under normal use and nowhere near over packed. No longer recommend these bags. Follow up Summer 2025 - 3 cases have had zippers break, and it was not due to over packing. This one the zipper just jammed up and the teeth broke. In hindsight very cheaply made. Now rate 0 of 5. I really liked the smaller bag but can't count on it. But cannot count on quality of these bags overall.

Very decent specially for the price
I really like this luggage set overall. The Nova Teal color looks great, and the textured shell does a nice job hiding minor scratches, which is a big plus after a few trips. The spinner wheels are solid and roll very smoothly, making the suitcases easy to maneuver even when packed. The weight is reasonable—not ultra-light, but definitely manageable and feels sturdy rather than flimsy. I also appreciate that the two larger suitcases have built-in locks for added security. The only downside is that the smallest piece doesn’t have a lock, which would have been nice for consistency across the set. Overall, this is a very good luggage set, especially if you can get it at a discounted price. It feels durable, looks good, and performs well for regular travel.

Great set of suitcases
I've taken a few trips with these suitcases. Oversea flights and in the states. Barely any scuffs and the wheels have held up great. My last set, not this brand, lasted 2 trips and the wheels were broken off. I'll be headed on a few more trips so I'll see if they continue to hold up to airline travel. The big one is really big! Tons of space, almost too much where you pack and realize your suitcase is now over weight limit for flying. The middle size one is perfect size. I got two weeks of clothes (summer and beach clothes) in that one. The small one seems too small to fit anything, but it's very deceiving. The expander really gives the suitcase a lot of extra room. I use this for weekend trips. I can fit 3-4 days clothes and all my toiletries. 11/17 25 I still have these and use them often. I feel like the pull up handle is getting a little loose feeling but overall for how many trips I've used them for they have held up amazing. I'm actually surprised they are still going for how much I travel. I most often use the middle size.

Excelente quality!
When I bought this 4 years ago I couldnt complain about the price. It was very affordable. I was worried to see how long it would last me. I know buying luggage is like a gamble. One thing you dont want is the zipper or wheel breaking on you while you're on your travel. One of the big luggage only lasted me 4 years. One of the wheels if ready to come off. Im trying to save it before I have to buy a new one. The other 2 is still going strong. I have no issues at all. Would I reccomend this? The price im seeing now has definitely gone way up. Im not sure if they upgraded or not. I know 4 years ago I will say this is definitely worth to buy if it was the same price as I bought 4 years ago.

Terrible Quality - Zipper and Shell Terrible
LATEST UPDATE: We have 3 of these and 2 of them did not survive our last trip...both sustained gashes in the outer shell, which is apparently not very durable. After forking out the money for multiple pieces, thinking we were upgrading to something nicer (from our old cloth/soft-sided set), we are super disappointed and now have to purchase more pieces. Our old cloth-sided set held up much better over more trips than these have. We'll be going with a better brand next and can NOT recommend this hard shelled Samsonite luggage. Consider yourself lucky if you get more than a trip or two out of them. UPDATE 09/29/22: WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. Finally heard back from customer service (after a week and a half). The company makes the customer pay to ship any defective suitcases to only authorized repair centers to see IF they consider the defect is covered under warranty (with lots of exemptions for them listed). So, not only did I pay for 3 suitcases but now only have 2 that work, I am also being asked to pay to ship their defective piece of luggage to a repair center to see IF they will cover it under warranty and fix it. Seems like a zipper should last more than one use?!?!?! Last time I waste my money on this brand. BUYER BEWARE! Love the color, maneuverability and seemingly durable nature of the exterior core. However, the zipper broke on the middle size after unpacking from it's FIRST USE--very disappointed since we went with Samsonite for the supposed quality. The suitcase was not in expansion mode and wasn't over-packed. It simply came undone when unzipping the luggage, to unpack. I've reached out to customer service and will update my review if they make things right. Remains to be seen what is and isn't covered with the touted 10-year warranty.

Worth the money!
Amazing suitcases! It is lightweight so it doesn't add to your total weight when checking in. Loved the option of the three sizes. The smallest one is a bit smaller than my normal carry on, but great for a weekend trip! The medium and large are definitely check in size. All are roomy, no wasted room like some other luggage, and easy to push even with a full luggage. Our young kids were able to push it (at 50 lbs). Totally worth the money for the 3 combination!
