13 watt - 4-Pin (G24q-1) Base - 2,700K - Warm White - Mini Spring Lamp - Twist / Spiral | Bright Lighting Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb Review: An illuminating experience - All of the ceiling light sockets in my apartment are these new fangled Twist Pin Base variety. It's a little hard to find these lights, but once again desertcart comes to the rescue. I got 2 to test out and they fit perfectly. I took a quick picture of the socket and matched it to the upclose picture of the bottom of this light and even did a Google search of the serial number (because I fancy myself a part-time detective). They were installed in about 10 seconds and work perfectly. Make sure you pay attention to the proper wattage of your socket, you don't want an "incident" that ends with you and the landlord and the fire department all pointing fingers at each other. Review: Bulb failed after 5 months - This bulb lasted only 5 months before failing. I'm hoping the seller will offer some compensation for a clearly defective product.

Wish it showed a bit brighter but was okay.
Worked well. Wishing that it showed a bit brighter though but okay.

Did not work in my lamp.
This bulb fit into the socket of my lamp but it didn't work. It could be that the original bulb was larger and maybe the pins didn't quite touch the socket. It looked to be of high quality but I had to return it.

Just what we needed
This is hard to find. I got another one as a back up.

It’s a light bulb
It does what it’s supposed to do. It’s bright. Does the job. But WHO in their right mind wants to pay $25 for a light bulb in 2023??? It doesn’t dim, activate with motion, change color or anything special at all. I’m renting so this light fixture just is what it is. Unfortunately this is the only place I’ve found this bulb. No stores carry it. If you need it get it

Nice replacement for an obscure bulb
I bought this bulb as a replacement for one that went out in my patio ceiling fan. These four pin spiral bulbs are VERY hard to find (Home Depot and Lowes did not have them) so ordering one online is about your only bet. There are numerous base styles for this type of bulb. Just to be clear, this bulb has a G24q-1 base - which means it has a ridge on two opposing sides of the base. It will ONLY fit fixtures which accept this exact base. I've been using the bulb for a few weeks and so far so good. If all goes well it should last a few years under casual usage.

Doesn't Fit
The center alignment spine doesn't "snap" into the retractable pins, causing the bulb to come loose and go out. I reordered in case it was a bad batch, but I have the same result. Funny the company is called "Precision" anything.
