how many AAs go into a C spacer?

I have the D spacers and they use 1. I prefer the d rechargeables as the ones that use AA don't last long at all. I think they are a waste.I had both types in my fake candles, the spacer lasted 1 night and the others over a month. Very big difference. All were eneloop.

Do the C Spacer work with normal alkaline battery? I want to use this on a Nerf Rapidstrike

The spacer has print that warns you not to use with non-Eneloop's. But I've used with Duracell ProCell successfully. I wonder if using non-Eneloop batteries may damage the spacer over the long haul. Given these are high quality but really pricey ($5 for each spacer!!), I'm going to stick with using only Eneloop AA batteries in them, but yes you can potentially use any AA batteries but at your own risk.

How many "D" Size Spacers in an order? The picture shows four, right?

Anyone know if these fit the large maglite that use D cell batteries? Thanks in advance

I have both a 2 cell and 3 cell Maglite flashlight for C sized batteries. They are the LED version so they don't take as much energy as the incandescent bulbs. I've used the eneloop C spacers in them for a few years and have been very happy with their performance. They do not last as long for sure, but if you have another set charged and ready to go then simply swap out and go. Way better than having to keep paying for C or D sized batteries that don't recharge or rechargeables that don't hold a charge.
