Nerf Swarmfire
First of all I ordered this on March 29th and I got it March 31th!!!! It took only 2 days when I got it I was so excited! I tested it out and it works amazing!!! Overall this is a great gun, it holds a good capacity of darts, and shoots great. I have not tested how far the shootig range is because its raining outside but it will probably shoot around 35 to maybe 50 feet. Its easy to clean up and load darts in. Its only $35.00 which is a great deal but shipping and handeling added a little more so it was $43.00 total but I dont care this is an amazing gun! I am going to make a review about this gun as soon as possible on youtube, if you want to watch it go on youtube and look up the channel Fantasynerf9. The only bad thing about this gun is that it needs 6 C batteries and sometimes some of the darts might dud a bit, some might shoot really far while others might shoot like 10 feet. please comment on this and tell me what you think of this insane gun!

Swarmfire is a great toy
I bought this for my 15 year old son for Christmas. He has a lot of fun because it is fully automatic. It is also part of the Nerf Dart tag line, which means that the tagger darts that come with it stick to a lot of clothing and Dart Tag Vests. Be sure to buy six C batteries to use with it. I forgot about this and we had to scrounge around to find some for him to try it out. It has a removeable stock that sometimes gets stuck but if you wiggle it a little bit, it will come out easily. It's a little front heavy as the battery compartment is all the way in the front. Always use 2 hands as it is hard to aim using just one hand. Overall this is a great addition to a Nerf gun collection. My son has been having a great time with it since he received it as a gift.

Sweet Futuristic Gun
This is a really nice looking gun. Everyone I show it to are impressed by its futuristic-Robotech-Anime-Halo style design. The range is nothing to brag about. The worse shots go 16-20 feet. The majority go between 20-25 feet. 25 feet seems to be the tops but rare. It does fire very rapidly, seemingly slightly faster than the Stampede. The max capacity is 20 darts (one reviewer said 30 but that's incorrect). It can be modified to use any darts. It has a really cool feel to it, but like other reviewers have said, it is very front heavy (unlike the Stampede that's more back heavy which allows you to cradle it under one arm). It requires two hands for sure and can easily tire out your wrist from holding it. May take some getting use to. The shoulder stock helps a lot with balance. The color is not the typical yellow found in previous guns. It has a slightly darker tone which gives it a nicer look as well. Overall, it's a fun gun. The only thing I would've liked differently about it which is why I gave the 4 star rating is for it to be less front heavy and more balanced. Hope this helps.

For all your automatic nerf gun needs
I strongly recommend you consider this youtube review (Amazon won't let me use an external link- go to youtube and search "Nerf Dart Tag Swarmfire - Review & Firing Test") regardless of whether or not you are purchasing this product. (Disclosure: I am not at all associated with this and have no desire to hang out with this kid on any kind of social level) This young man seems to do good work stress-testing the device. In case you were curious, he makes it abundantly clear that the device used in testing has not been modified. YET. Who knows what kind of modifications he might do down the road, night vision sniper scope? Explosive Hollow-point bullets? 3-dart burst mechanism? Who knows, it is WAY too early to tell. On to my personal experience. I purchased this item when I saw that it was on sale for $15. After sending that link to one of my nerf-minded friends, he also made the purchase along with the $3.99 one-night shipping so he could get his hands on this gun as soon as possible. I see that it is now $27.99, so I don't know if I could authorize the purchase at that extravagant price point. I'm an adult, so I have no idea if this gun is child-safe or friendly. My wonderful girlfriend seemed to really appreciate each time that I unloaded the 20-dart clip into her from ranges of 12-15 feet. She especially liked cleaning up after said barrage. I am using this in a one-bedroom apartment, but I'd have to imagine that accuracy may be affected by the elements if used in an an outdoor setting. It is also good for surprising friends who come over to watch football. Often you can catch them totally unaware. The darts do tend to get lost, but I assume that is a problem with any automatic nerf gun.

Nerf Dart Tag Swarmfire
Sorry to leave a bad review of this item, but after opening it at Christmas and then putting batteries in a few days later we found that it did not work. My son was very disappointed.

The gun arrioved today. It would shoot for awhile and then nothing. Batteries keep opping up.We tried tape and still did it.So now my son is pcking it with paper towels. We will see if that keeps it from popping up.I would have returned this, but my son wants to see if his idea works

Great fun but slow to fire
I really like this gun. Pros: Large clip capacity, automatic fire, very accurate to 20 ft Cons: Loud, slow to fire (delay between shots), and heavy All in all this is a great gun. I've had it for over a year and the original batteries are still operating just fine (light use). I think i'm going to wire more batteries to it to get the barrel to rotate faster though.

Best Christmas Gift EVER
I bought two Taggers for my 10 year old twin nieces. It was the perfect gift! They have so many toys and so much junk (don't all kids these days!) that it's always hard to get something for them. When they got to these gifts, they actually screamed! They tore them open, loaded them and (after putting on the goggles I bought to appease their mom) took out after each other with gusto. When they tired of attacking each other, their dad became the target. They were actually getting along with each other while they attacked their dad! NOTE TO FUTURE BUYERS: Each Tagger requires 6 "C" batteries, and extra darts are essential! The more the better!
