The real deal. OEM and new.
They are genuine Microsoft Xbox 360 component cables, new and sealed in the bag. These are the first edition component cables, which also had a composite cable in addition to the switch for standard definition or hdtv. Some people here have gotten the newer ones that didn’t have the composite cable. Anyway, the cable works great and the price is great! Recommended.

Basically perfect.
I have an old xbox360, the arcade I believe. I bought an HDMI cord from a local store but learned my xbox doesn't support HDMI cords. I ordered this product and it works like a charm. It has a switch on it to allow you to change between SD and HD quality. I can even go up to 1080p, which I was surprised by. I expected 720p to be the limit for a component cable. It's also really long, probably 6 ft or so. Just be sure when you use it you plug it in for regular quality and hd but run it on regular. Go to the Display xbox system settings menu and change it to HD. I messed around with plugging and unplugging, resetting and such for almost an hour before I figured that one out. Oh well, C'est la vie. All in all a perfect purchase if you need to connect your xbox to an HDTV without the use of an HDMI port. I don't even know what advantage an HDMI would give since this supports 1080p.

Get what you pay for
Actually, deny what many would have you think, this is a genuine Microsoft cable. Also, as the price and reviews suggest, this cable is probably used. Mine did not come in the original package, and did appear to be slightly discolored. Again, not because it's a "fake" cable, but because it's not new. I don't know how to prove that it's used, but i can definitely tell you that it has some age. Other than that, the cable is perfect. Works great, no problems. I bought this cable because I ran out of HDMI ports on my TV, but had plenty of spare Component ports. This cable is capable of displaying 1080p for games, but only 1080i for content from Zune. This may not be an issue for you if your TV is smaller than 50 inches(like mine) or if your TV isn't capable of handling more than 720p over component(like most older HDTV units). I would not hesitate to buy this cable again, because it works with no problems and saved me tons of money. Remember, HDMI = Waste of Money.

Great Price for What It Is
I have to say, I was a bit skeptical about what I would receive since it was much cheaper than most listings on eBay. When it arrived, it was in solid condition and most importantly, it worked! That said, it’s not going to be mint condition but for the price, in my opinion, you can’t beat it. Definitely would recommend.

Not a game, so not sure how to star this one?
The Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable is another example of why it stinks to be console owners sometimes. Creating a unique cable that can only be used with their product sucks. Thank goodness companies are starting to wise up and issue universal adaptors for cell phones. The product itself works great. Unfortunately, at the time, I did not have a setup that could take advantage of the HDMI cable, so I needed to get the Component cable for use at a 2nd location (got tired to moving all wires when I would go stay at the girlfriend's place ;) ). This cable works well. Given that there are few to none other options out there, its a good choice to make. It does what it needs to do and the prices now are better since HDMI cables are cheap (minus Monster Cables). If HDMI is available to you, use that instead. Better picture quality, less of a mess of wires, and cheaper. If component is the only option, scoop this little diddy up and you'll be happy.

Microsoft Xbox 360 Component HD AV cable (video cable)-Works great, Arrived within the Time Frame
Since it's almost 2015, I thought I'd do my review of this before the New Year starts. As a backstory, I was finishing up my undergraduate degree and my Xbox 360's HD video cable bit the dust after several years of working. I ordered around the time of my Spring Break in March. It arrived within the time frame given, and while it was a little bit boring at times waiting for it to arrive, it eventually came. I had it mailed to my address at my college, and checked my mail one day and found that it had finally arrived. My experience with Gdreamer, the seller (based in California), was good, as I tested the cable when I had some free time, and it worked fine. It came in a sealed USPS First-Class package, and survived the trip. It helped make my final semester of college enjoyable, and also helped me get more out of my 360. To clarify, in the event that someone reading this has one of the two more recent versions of the 360, my Xbox is the second-generation 360, which is the same size as the first one, but has improved cooling fans and other things which prevent the Red Ring of Death (RROD). This cable is meant for the first two or so generations of 360's. The newer Xbox 360's may or may not work with it.

Been using that since two years because I have a old TV. It's not HDMI but it much better than the standard RCA connector. It does the job well.

Well described. Just the cable I needed

Well if you are unfortunate enough to own an xbox so ancient that it doesn't have HDMI (I did), this cable will significantly improve the quality of video and audio. There is an optical out for audio as well and that's fantastic.

Boy does technology not disappoint… I was nervous to have all my old friends over, but my Xbox connectors wouldn’t fit into my TV, and Stephen really likes to play Xbox (if he doesn’t get to play video games at our “boys nights”, he starts to get physical and threatens the other guests and my mom). So I bought this connector, and it worked! I was so excited for Stephen to be able to play video games. but, it turns out, that I didn’t even have the game he liked. So he spent the whole night threatening me and my friends and he even called me a “little dip stick” several times…
