Nerf Rival series are known for their speed and accuracy and this blaster did not disappoint. Good entry point into the Nerf Rival series blasters at this price point. The mag capacity is 8 rounds but you can squeeze in 9 and if you chamber 1 more, you can use all the 10 rounds. But I would not advise to do this because it often caused jams, and would sometimes fire 2 rounds at once. Use 8 rounds and things work just fine. If this is your first Rival series blaster, you will need to get used to the priming slide as it does not slide back on it's own, you have to slide it back manually (this action also chamber the round). Other than that, the Rival rounds are really bouncy so they have a tendency to bounce around and end up in all the nooks and crannies after being shot. You'll have to look around to retrieve all the rounds, but that's just a minor nitpick. Faster and more powerful (age rating is 14+), not for small kids. Loads of fun for the rest of people.

Perfect for 12 years and above. 99% accuracy with excellent FPS. It would have better if they give more bullets with this. Bullets are very expensive to buy separately.

Magazines are really cool and it was a fun product but it would be really hard to prime for a younger kid. On priming slowly and not very forcefully, sometimes the ball won't chamber into the barrel leading to a dryfire

The nerf gun is great, and works how it’s supposed to and it’s very hard to break it even when you try. However if you are new to rival and are getting this as your first rival blaster do note it is bigger than it looks and it hits hard. The handle is only really good for adult hands but children can still wield it. I would say if you are getting this for someone below the age of ten rethink it. It’s a very powerful pistol and is quite loud. And if your are not older than 12 it will be hard to prime the blaster and get it ready to fire as it has a strong spring in it. However if your are fine with all that, it’s a great product that’s worth the ten dollars.
