I ordered this for my daughter who is doing GCSE art- and she’s been really impressed with them so far. Comes in a very sturdy storage tin, with each pen held within the dividers. You could either keep them that way (I personally would) or you can remove the plastic divider trays and just store them in the tin. A free mini colour book is included which is a nice added touch. Pens are duel sided- one being a brush tip and the other fine. The brush side allows you to colour/draw much larger areas and almost feels like a small paintbrush. The fine tip is for very delicate detail- I tried writing with a lighter colour and it was almost impossible to see- definitely designed for those tiny details. Easy grip and dry almost instantly, meaning no risk of smudging as you are going along. Pens look an average size so I imagine they’ll last a while before running out. I’d say this is aimed at people wishing to use them for art or detailed work, rather than a standard set of colouring pens. Priced at £30 for 120 pens (including case) is excellent value for money. Overall we’ve been very pleased with these and happy to recommend.

The pens come in a very smart and tidy tin. They are assorted in colours and shades and being arranged in such a way makes it very easy to find the pen you need. The pens themselves have a nice solid and easy to grip feel about them. They are slightly rough which prevents them slipping in your fingers. Each pen has two nibs. One a super fine nib to allow you to add really delicate detail and the other a larger brush style nib. The brush nib flows depending on how hard you press it into the paper as well as the angle. For example the more upright you hold it and lighter the pressure applied, the finer the lines and flow of ink. The set also includes a small colouring book which was an unexpected bonus. Overall I am really happy with this set. At the current price of £29.99 you get great value for money. You get 120 pens, each with two nibs and the range of colours really allows you to layer and shade. A fantastic purchase for any budding artist that I am pleased to recommend.

I’ll start by saying it infuriates me when Chinese sellers don’t bother ‘translating’ from US to UK English for amazon.co.uk. There’s no denying the value in this set, however.. It’s great to have the versatility of dual tips. They work well on all the different papers and cards I’ve tried, drying quickly. The range of colours really couldn’t be more complete. For painting, it’s wonderful to be able to select from pens with just slight variation in tone, and inks that blend readily. The trays and tin are perfect for storing, organising and displaying the pens. The listing mentions children but I’d suggest they’re inappropriate for younger children. Children really need to be fairly advanced in their artwork to to get the bet out of such a wide range of colour. At £29.99 for the set of 120 pens, these are certainly good value and suitable for gifting. I just wish they weren’t made in China – that would stop me buying.

The Hethrone dual tip pen set is a really good quality set, straight away the case is solid and will keep the pens protected and organized which I like. There is a good variety of colours in various shades to suit all projects. Im very happy with the quality of the pens, through i am dreadful at actually drawing it doesn't stop me trying and I have really enjoyed using these with the water colour style too, it gives such beautiful effects and is so easy for everyone to do - each pen had two nibs a standard one for usual colouring and the watercolour and then a fine nib for detailing. I do feel because of the price this set is more for actual artist type people rather than me just with my colouring pages as Id never usually pay this amount for pens but I can see why a skilled person would invest in the.

These dual-tip water-based brush pens come in a sturdy tin with four layers of moulded plastic containing the pens. The layers are easy to lift out and return to the tin, and with 120 pens it’s easy to see the various colours at a glance as the lids identify which is which. The fine end is about 0.4mm and gives a very thin line, and the brush end is approx. 1-2mm, suitable for colouring or illustrations. It’s easy to see which end is which as the lids are a different size. These brush pens are odourless, non- toxic, and so are safe for children. This set came with a little colouring book which I have been using to play with the colours and see how they are. Overall, I’m very pleased with them, but I would say not to press too hard with the brush end – it’s not really necessary and it could damage the tip. These are great pens for the price and suitable for most uses whether it’s for colouring books, drawing, or painting.
