Works as lanyard tail clips.
I zip tied these to my harness as lanyard tail clips. As a package of 5 they aren't the cheapest pieces of plastic, but they are durable and more affordable than the other specific made ones. They work just as designed, except in a different application. When you tug on your lanyard tail, the rope pops out for use. The rest of the time the tail is held in place out of harms way.
