This was a replacement for my boat trailer and it couldn't have been any better. Easy to install, master cylinder and shock preinstalled and it came with the brake lockout bar if you need to reverse with the trailer. They updated the design where it locks onto he trailer ball so it won't pop off the truck anymore. I was very happy with this purchase as it made my trailer like new again. Simple install
Old unit was not working correctly. Added this. Read instructions on everything as well the bleeding section and all will work fine.

Perfect replacement
Perfect fit. Exact replacement. Nice finish. It is difficult to bleed as the access on the bottom to the brake master cylinder is too small for a large screw driver or pry bar to plunge as per the instructions.

Bought an older boat with this type of slide/brake system ...
Bought an older boat with this type of slide/brake system that was completely shot. This product fit perfectly and really took the strain off of starting and stopping with my 6000lb boat. You still have to bleed the brakes and all the normal things you do when you start replacing parts, but this was no trouble to install and start using.
