This NOW Foods organic oat bran is an excellent source of fiber and when prepared as hot cereal has a rich and creamy texture. The package I received had a 2027 expiration date so it is very fresh. I tried mashing a banana into the hot oat bran with just a dash of 100% real maple syrup to sweeten. It tasted so good that I bought a second package! This product is a good value for the price paid!

Great source of fiber

I am always looking for alternatives to gluten. I made meatloaf with this instead of breadcrumbs and it gave it a Nutty delicious flavor! You do have to use a little bit more liquid when replacing oat bran with bread crumbs. It's a great gluten-free alternative
