If it can help me, it can help anyone - works great
I am just starting to work on pull ups and there is no way I could do them without the assist. This one was very easy to put on my pull up bar -- just wrap it over the bar and hook the carabiner into one of the many loops on the strap. The multiple options for loops lets you pick just the right length for you and the level of assistance that you need. I also like that it is optimistic enough that at some point in the far away future I might not need as much band assist and the option is there to lengthen the strap and/or remove 1 or 2 of the 3 elastic bands. The elastic bands are very very strong and work just fine even with my weight -- they assist well and are very sturdy (and not too stretchy). It shows that you can also use this as a type of resistance band for other exercise -- but the resistance of these is so strong I could not do the upper body options -- so I will just use it for the assist as it works perfectly for this, but if you are really looking to build, this band will give you a heavy resistance for other exercises. I am very pleased with the band and look forward to being able to work on my pull ups at home.

Ripping Pull-Ups!
I love this pull-up/chin-up strap. It feels to be made of high quality. I've used it a few times and it works as it should. It has removeable tension bands to make it easier or more challenging. You can shorten or lengthen the strap to also make it easier or more challenging. The foot hold will keep you from getting popped in the crotch by the tension bands. This will definitely help with increasing your pull-up or chin-up numbers, as well as your form. The single critique I have is I would like it to have two foot holds instead of one.

Good quality if you're weak and heavy get 2 of them
The quality is good, and it works well. It’s very easy to use and comfortable to use. However, I’m 225 pounds, and it’s definitely not strong enough to help me do more than a couple of pull-ups, like I can do six pull-ups at most. I wish I had gotten two of these for a guy my size. If you weigh 150 pounds or less, it probably works great on its own. If you have at least some muscles, it might work for you. But I went over two years without working out at all, and my muscles completely faded away. I’m extremely weak and can’t even do one pull-up on my own. It’s crucial to remember that I’m currently recovering from significant muscle atrophy.

Best Resistance Band
I love it! I can now do my pull-ups without having pain on my shoulder. I believe this assistance band is going help strengthen my shoulder. I hurt my shoulder doing push-ups a few years back and I've been terrified of doing pull-ups for fear of re-injuring my shoulder. I feel no discomfort at all while using the band. My 15 year old son loves it. We now compete to see who can do the most in 1 min. I am a 57 year old female. Hopefully this review will help others when deciding which band to buy.

Decent, but the actual resistance (assistance) is much less than advertised.
Although the design is simple and functional, and the resistance adequate for my intended uses, I would NOT recommend buying this if you're looking for anything like their advertised 165 pounds of resistance! If you're much heavier than that and relatively weak in this area you will very likely need considerably more assistance than this can provide. At the maximum stretch you're likely to obtain when used normally in the maximum range of motion for a pull up, I'd say these are closer to 70 pounds(charitably!) starting from the bottom, i.e., most stretched, and, due to the inherent variable and non-linear nature of band-based resistance, you'll get MUCH LESS as you near the top ROM (like 20-30 pounds). There is some judgement involved in what's "normal,", but yes, I actually measured resistance at different ranges with a good quality crane scale! I suppose it'd be possible to somehow engage the bands from the start of the range of motion with the bands in a substantially pre-stretched position to obtain something a little closer to their claims, but: (1) this would require the user to contort themselves to get on and off (which probably a particularly bad idea for people likely to need or want this much help); (2) is more likely to risk the bands snapping (potentially causing injury!); and (3) is apt to make the non-linearity of the resistance more problematic. In short, I'm dinging what is otherwise a decent inexpensive product for substantially overclaiming the advertised resistance. If they only claimed 60-70 pounds resistance I'd probably give them a 4 or 5 star review.

Almost 4 years of use.
I bought one of these things three years and nine months ago and have used it pretty consistently. The other day, the middle band broke, but didn’t hit me because the rubber is contained inside of fabric. I uploaded a photo with the original one I purchased on the left and the new one on the right so you can see how well it has held up. Before buying a new one I tried using a regular resistance band attached to my pull-up bar and it was just not even close to as good. I would recommend this product.

Well designed with the strap tension weights, sturdy and will last a long time
Heavy duty and it is well made. Having all three tension straps makes it very easy to do pull ups even for a lightweight person. Removing one tension strap makes it relatively difficult but doable. If you can do 10 pull ups with the 3 tension straps, then you can do 3-5 with 2 straps.
