Can't beat Epson
I bought this for use in my office where I regularly scan documents on a variety of paper types—from standard sheets to card stock—and it handles them all with no problem. Setup was easy, and it scans quickly depending on your DPI settings. My favorite feature is the scanning software—it offers a lot of useful options and makes the process really efficient. I especially love that it automatically deletes blank pages. Overall, it’s been a reliable tool for my office.

Great scanner. Purchased five or so. Each staff person has one and they scan all day long. Great product for the price. . Interfaces with with desk top or lap top.

Nice scanner - works well. Pretty good accompanying software
While this scanner is a little pricey, it really does a great job of scanning. I used it along with Quickbooks to scan my receipts. Works perfectly. Both in color and black and white - it captures images as PDFs perfectly. I have not tried photos, however. For documents, receipts and such, this scanner will handle it with ease. Even small receipts feed through with no issues. My only complaint is the price. Then again, this scanner is priced almost identically to any other in this class. So I guess no matter which you choose, you're going to pay between $300 and $400. For me, having those receipts stored as PDFs is worth the $300 I spent.

Best scanner!!
Best scanner. Super easy to use. Great for organizing your scans in folders. I scan receipts insurance cards, all with ease. We have 10 in our office.

Great scanner
Works great... little bit of a learning curve to set up but it is absolutely fantastic once it gets going. I use the scan to pdf them use Acrobat for OCR.... works like a charm.
