Just started using it on WW2 tanks…works great!

I had a difficult time getting the rust effect to look authentic with this product. This was my first time using AK Interactive Rust Streaks so there may be a learning curve involved and it might just take more practice. I normally use wax chalk paint to get my desired rusted look, but since that usually requires mixing multiple colors I figured this one step option would be easier. I read other reviews and saw photos from people who seemed to get great results, so I know it can work. I’m going to look up a few YouTube tutorials on application to see if there’s a technique I’m missing. Side note: this does not work well on dark metal. It barely showed up at all for me. Overall, I’m not giving up on it, but there’s definitely a bit of a learning process.

I just had the chance to use this product on a tank model that I was working on today. This stuff works out great and I wil be buying this product again in the near future. When used as directed, it really looks like rust streaks.

I need to preface this by saying that a few months ago I had never done any kind of painting other than the walls in my house (inside and out). The replicas that I make are some of the best looking ones that I see out there. Easy to use and looks real. Its my go to in my ever growing kit of paints.
