It's the cart's meow!!!
Every so often, I buy something from Amazon that exceeds my expectations on a number of fronts - this is one of those products. It's a simple, quality design.I play guitar, and wanted a rolling laptop cart so I could watch tutorials or run Guitar Pro while playing.I zeroed in on this cart because it has a 'side table' to accommodate a mouse, and the price was reasonable. $60 isn't cheap, but it is 'budget' compared to a lot of the other fancier options out there.Well, so far this little cart has exceeded my expectations!First, this product is very well packed and securely boxed from the manufacturer - I am noting this because someone gave the product a pretty low rating due to a surface blemish and defective part. I don't know where they bought it, but Amazon still has a decent return policy. Stuff happens. Mine arrived perfect.Second, it took me a while to put this thing together, however I must say that the instructions are in clear English, most of the pieces are identified with corresponding stickers (!), and they include a small wrench and hex key to get the job done. High marks for ease of assembly. The finished item is sweet - it's pretty sturdy (for a laptop cart on wheels), the 'laptop' surface tilts frontwards and backwards and has a bumper lip on each side, so depending on your surroundings, you can turn it so that the side (mouse) surface can be on the left or right hand side. And the fixed side surface is big (about 10" wide by 17" deep)! So in my case, it accommodates my mouse, mouse pad, guitar tuner, metronome, and beverage with room to spare. Convenient!Worth noting:This laptop cart is designed to work at three fixed heights - there's no infinitely adjustable gas tube, it has two height knob set screws. The surface height settings are about 30" at lowest, 32" at the middle, and a maximum of 35" (using both height knob set screws). So if you need more height adjust versatility, this may not be for you.Weight limit on main surface is rated 45 lbs. Side surface weight limit is rated 30 lbs.The bumper lips on the main surface can't be removed. For me, this is perfect. :)

Decent Podium, But Not as Heavy-Duty as Advertised
The height adjustability and tilting panel make this desk very versatile. The safety edge-stoppers are a nice touch to keep things from sliding off, and the casters make it easy to move around. Despite being advertised as heavy-duty, it feels lighter and less sturdy than expected. It works fine for light use, but if you need something truly durable, this might not be the best option.

Some construction difficulty, but worth the price.
This is a pretty versatile desk. The tray tilts both ways, so the non-tilting tray can be on both the right or left side. The wheels work a lot better on carpet than some other rolling workstations I've used. It was relatively easy to put together, took about 40 minutes total. The graphite surface is solid and seems high quality.I wasn't thrilled about the fact that I can not rest the desk to the lowest position, which would have been most convenient in terms of my height needs. The locking bolts have to both be set in for the desk to not wobble. It would have made more sense to add one extra screw hole so the desk could be lowered completely flush, and doing so without screwing both bolts in leaves it very unstable. Lifted up to its next highest level, while a little too high for my needs, still seems stable when both bolts are tightened. That said, it seems to be able to be raised high enough to stand at to work, so if that is your intention, it should work well. If you plan to use it while sitting, you'll have to be sitting in a higher place, such as a bed, or a high-sitting chair or couch. Our standard traditional sofa is going to be way too low to be comfortable for any length of time if we have to use the mouse tray at all. Otherwise the tray can be tilted for easier access to whatever is placed on it. The tray itself has ridges on both sides, so to allow whatever is placed on it to not slide off, no matter what angle it is tilted at.The plastic stabilizer was broken, and I will be calling the company to replace it, but I was able to rig it well enough to make it work.Additionally, there is a screw that attaches the tilt adjuster to the frame, and is supposed to hold that piece tight against the lever to prevent it from wobbling when the tilt is set. That plastic screw is horribly difficult to tighten. You'll find that tilt adjuster coming loose until it's tightened correctly though. You can try it by hand with some (rather painful) effort, or you can use a pliers at the risk of breaking it. The design is kind of ridiculous, as the screw almost seems to fit inside the frame piece, rather than truly tightening it from the outside, as you would think would make the most sense. Nobody will probably even understand what I'm trying to describe until you see this thing yourself, but consider yourself forewarned. It was hands-down the most difficult aspect of the assembly.Overall, the best desk I found under $80.
