The wife wanted a basket to sit on the kitchen counter to hold various items prior to using them for meals. She liked this simple yet sturdy metal basket. It was simple to assemble the pieces in less than a minute. The main drawback was the round ring atop the basket kept it from sliding beneath our wall cabinets. The wife was ready to give up when I told her I could fix the problem. in my shop I used bolt cutters to snip off the top ring. Then a few seconds on my grinding wheel smoothed the burrs from the cut. A quick spray or two of black paint completed the modification. Happy wife = happy life!

I had fruits, veggies, potatoes in bowls all over my counters, all that is resolved. It is super easy to put together, you get easy to follow instructions and the tool (hex key) to do it. The baskets are big and sturdy and you can use them separately. My only suggestion would be to not have that top piece with the ring, but if you're using it as a server it makes sense, I'm just using it for storage.

I needed something to replace the old salad bowl I've been keeping my fresh produce in. This is a good size (doesn't dominate the table) and has two baskets -- I use one for fruit, the other for onions/potatoes, which is nice to keep them separate. It seems sturdy enough and was easy to put together. What's not to like?
