Ocean Avenue Women's Adjustable Bottom

I'm 5.6 and 150lbs. I had 3 cesareans and so there's heavy stitching below my belly button right around the height of my hips. Whatever belly fat I have folds over that stitch. But the adjustable bottom is a the right height to go over and hides my floppy belly. In addition, it's not so tight that it emphasizes my love handles.I tie the ties at the side to the tightest/shortest, and finds it provides a complementary look to my belly area. I got a black push up swim top from JC Penney (the ones on Amazon were a bit expensive) and even at my weight with some belly fat, I don't look bad in a bikini, unbelievable! I just look curvy!

I liked that it looked more concealing than most bikini bottoms, and it definitely is. I'm a size 4/5 and the medium fit well enough but was pretty darn baggy in the front.... in kind of awkward ways. So I sewed a handful of scrunches into the material so it wasn't all loose and baggy and I love it.If I ordered these again I might try the small and see how they fit even as boy-short style bottoms since the sides can be pulled straight down with the tie strings loosened or removed. The mediums are definitely too big to do this on me.

I like these because I hate having to shave so much of my bikini line (very sensitive skin so I get the red bumps no matter what) and these bottoms cover up enough that I only have to shave the obvious stragglers. Also my ass is huge and I hate it and these make it look less awful. Also it covers up the muffin tops. So that's a plus! is great fabric and isn't see through. Dries super fast. Would definitely buy again. Not sure if they LOOK good on me, I mean they are basically granny panties but I like 'em anyways. :)

I purchased this product on M sise which is my regular size for bottoms, and it came too big!!! it looked like it was an L size, When I put this on, it covered my belly button and some werid bags formed on the bottom. I just couldn't wear it

This is a nice pair of swim bottoms for those of us who would rather cover more of our derrieres, but are still okay with our midriffs. I am a pretty fit 50ish, but am not ready for a granny suit. Still, I am under no illusion that a teeny bikini bottom will work either. After sending back tons of very expensive suits. These bottoms are the ones that stuck, albeit with more expensive tops. Highly recommended for the curvy and modest!

These are exactly what I have been hunting for. I wanted a swim suit bottom that I felt comfortable in and didn't feel over exposed. These are perfect. They could read a little retro if that was what you are looking for but definitely don't let that scare you away if its not what you want. I am 5'9" 148ish lbs. Size 8-10 pants. Medium fits me perfectly. Comes just about to where they fall on the model. I do have a long torso so they could be higher if you are shorter. Love that the side ties let you adjust the leg opening. Really great quality,especially at the price. Stay put when swimming in the pool. Haven't worn them to the beach but I would feel comfortable in the waves with this bottom. I have been so frustrated with everything in the stores being so skimpy and am super happy with this purchase. Would love to see more colors!

I got this because it looked adorable on the model and I liked that it offered more coverage (also kind of pin-up style) but it just wasn't flattering on me, I think because the top line dips down at the sides.

These swim bottoms are great. I normally don't write reviews but I really am pleased with these, especially considering the price. They cover your entire bottom without looking like granny panties, and they are adjustable. If you want to avoid the faux muffin top that some swim bottoms can give, just adjust the sides so they are at the longest length and hit higher up on your hips. When scrunched completely down, it gives the front a cute ruched effect. The material is good quality and helps stop unwanted jiggle. I was hesitant on what size to order; I am 5'7", around 140 pounds, usually wear a 10 in jeans, and I ordered the medium. The fit is perfect, not too tight but snug enough to keep things in and not stretch too much while swimming. I highly recomend these bottoms for gals that want to be modest, but dont want a swim skirt.
