Guarana Antarctica, The Brazilian Original Guarana Soda, Regular, 11.83 fl oz (Pack of 12)

This has such an interesting taste and smell. Upon opening a can, the smell is very light with a sort of apple-y/berry scent, almost Sprite-ish, but not quite. Now upon tasting this -- it's completely different and I immediately fell in love. The carbonation was pretty strong (but then again, I rarely drink soda and this was an exception), but the flavor is what drew me in more! It has a slight medicinal, green taste with a hint of apple/pear/berry/citrus flavor. Very difficult to describe but I guess bottom line it's sort of like a ginger ale with cherry, but not the medicinal cherry cough syrup flavor (if you know what I mean). I love, love, love this!

We absolutely love this soda. It has a flavor that’s like a mix between sprite and apple juice (the Guarana). These cans were cheaper than the same exact product from our local grocery store. Would buy them again.

I have never heard of this soda before, I was just looking for a different soda and came across it during my search. It is kinda hard to explain the taste, it isn’t over powering or too sweet (I got the zero calorie version). It reminds me a bit like a blend of ginger ale and cream soda. If you have never tried it before and want to try something different, I would recommend it. It also makes a great mixer, I mixed it with some bourbon and really liked it and my sister mixed it with some Tito’s. It is a little expensive for just an everyday soda, but compared to some of premium ginger beer and ginger ales for mixing, it is a good deal.

This is a Brazilian soda, and it is absolutely the best soda in the whole planet! I wish more people in the US knew about it so it would be readily available everywhere. It is refreshing, light, and tastes like heaven! It tastes grate on its own or with a slice of orange.The delivery was prompt, next day between 4-7am. Price was $13 for 12x 11.83oz/350ml. They are not the cheapest, but justifiable since it's an imported delight.Try if you haven't yet. It is simply THE BEST! Nothing tops it.

My favorite carbonated drink that is so delicious!A Brazilian friend recommended this drink to me, so I tried it at a Brazilian restaurant and fell in love with it!I recommended it to my husband who only drinks Coca-Cola and Sprite, and after trying it, he keeps coming back for this drink! I know that the guarana fruit is good, and although carbonation may not be good for your health, I thought it would be better than just Coca-Cola, so I bought it when it was cheap and am drinking it. Anyway, I hope they keep selling this drink!

Guarana is probably the most famous Brazilian soda. Hard to find, ok value (most branded 12 packs are ~$7-10 vs ~$13 for these), caffeinated, tastes unique similar to tutti frutti. There are two versions both caffeinated; regular with yellow top stripe contains sugar and the white stripe diet with aspartame and acesulfame. Worth a try, price should be better, unique mild flavor, stores well, great gift or treat especially for Brazilians. (4*/5*)

Few things scream out the flavor of Brazil like sugarcane hooch or guarana. I first encountered Antarctica Brand Guarana in Kentucky at a steakhouse for $4 per can. Lovely to see a more affordable means to get it in the United States.
