Great quick fixes to block water.
Very good for blocking rain water but gets real heavy once fully absorbed. Last a couple of years before some tears started showing. Great to use under a patio probably not for outside elements.

Quality of sock item
They really do work! BUT you need to have plenty of them, and place them tightly together. A regular sized water tank would need about 6 to 8 surrounding it tightly on the floor for water to spread to far out

"Super" is NOT better! Get the OTHER ones that LOOK identical but DIFFERENT material!
These product listings are very confusing, since the company has two IDENTICAL LOOKING products that are very different. Others can say "it's your fault for not reading the listing," but when someone is comparing back & forth different products, then decide they like a certain brand/type (and in this case the 2, unlike the rest of their differing products are the same COLOR and look), they go back to what they thought they were looking at all along, only to discover once shipped it is not. In addition, this one is called the "SUPER" absorbing (because it claims to absorb 3/4 of a gal more than the other one that looks like it, despite the other being the superior product (absorbing gel granules vs cloth). SO the name also adds to the confusion because of course everyone would want the "super" because the implication is the best. THIS listing has a CLOTH material inside of it to "absorb," (and also susceptible to mold/mildew) whereas the other one they offer has the granules. UPS lists these as a 16lb shipment so it can't just be easily returned, so LEARN from the mistakes of those before you. Speaking of mistakes, I am NOT reducing points based on my mistake, but for the reduced usefulness of such a product, confusing nature of making 2 very different products appear identical and the confusing nature of calling the inferior one "Super." Perhaps a stamp of "single use" or "reusable" on each product & photo is you can't change the color, or a stripe down the side or some kind of indicator the one you "went back to" from search is different. This is NOT the one you want if you want to use more than once OR leave out "just in case," because if you get trickling water you're already going to start building mildew. Make sure you're reading the FULL description every single time you go back to view the product to ensure you're getting the one that is mildew resistant and NOT "super" in the description.
