My fancy golden bear hamster absolutely loves digging in this and it's only separate small box that I have next to a cocoa chip and Cedar chip small boxes she switches back and forth, this allows her to have different substrates to keep her occupied and engaged sometimes I will even put a or not for yogurt drop deep inside which challenges her to find it.

Great item! Perfect amount of cork to add to the digging box! My hamster is only interested if I add food to the digging box, but he will dig through it for sure! Good quality, will purchase again!

The media could not be loaded. My hamster loves digging around in this. I used it to make a garden and I see him going in there and digging around at least once a day. It stayed within the little fence well. The bag came with enough that I had leftovers for when I want to refill the garden.

My hamster loves her dig bowl with coco soil in it! It’s her hang out and she loves digging so much. I also think she might pee in it, lol. She scampers over to it as soon as she wakes up and comes up out of her burrows at night, then she either digs in it or sits in it, pondering life and all its mysteries.All hamsters should have a dig box in their cage with a substrate like this coco soil in it, they love digging and it’s so fun to watch!
